No other drives compare
Comment:
Keep this short.Use these drives daily. Have multiple 2/4/8/16/32 drives depening on task. I run linux in one of 2 modes: Persist-to update all my attk frmewrks; NonPersist- when dealing with malware. Caps are pain in a**, so strip Para (550 cord) Use an upolstery needle, voila! Since I have them I always tape caps since I never know when I will need them, rain, sleet, snow, sweat After long days forget to take them out,of pocket. I have 3 drives that went through the wash at least 4 times. They still work, but not smart idea. Deep6 the cord lanyard, the rope will rip through the runner. Go buy Id card lanyards and unsnap at the joint, look close. They are heavey duty. Latency is usually do to partitioning. Ran 1 week of shark captures, with no issues, but paranoia makes me always run 2 at a time. Current drives are 1 year, since I got premrkt. Stress test new drives, you will know bad in first few days, never had one. Use kangaroo(etc) for LHF -compliance (HIPPA/SOX/TAA/etc.) |

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST USB FLASH AROUND!
Comment:
This is the best for storing photos, word documents, and anything else important. So your fellow hacker does not have access, or if your hard drive fails, or computer gets stolen, you aren't giving the criminals free reign to your files. Also if you ever plan on re-selling your computer, no one will even be able to recover deleted files, as the files will never have officially been on your hard drive. AMAZING HUH? |

Great buy and performance
Comment:
I did not want to carry a USB Hard drive 3 USB keys (One 8GB and two 4GB) with me. This key lets me carry 4 XP Ghost Images and I still have plenty of room for files, more than small USB keys would allow. It performs fast and up to now, I have been very satisified. |

Does the job
Comment:
I just didn't want to have to carry a USB Hard drive; this little toy let me carry a lot more around than small USB keys. It doesn't feel top quality, but it performs fast and up to now, no problem to report. |

Patriot Xporter XT Boost 32GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable)
Cons:The cap holder isn't effective at all
Pros:Fast, sturdy Comment:
I bought this to replace a failed Corsair Survivor (!). This is a fast little device; it rockets through file transfers faster than almost any other USB key I've ever had. It is obviously sturdy and able to handle rough conditions. The only downside is the cap holder. The cap holds really really well over the USB plug, but when you use the other end to hold the cap while in use it always pops up (and seems to fly out with additional impulse). |

Patriot Xporter XT Boost 32GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable)
Cons:None that I can think of
Pros:The size of the drive vs its price Comment:
For $65, this is a great purchase. I was expecting some issues with transfer rates because of its size, but that was not the case. There is enough space here that I can throw pretty much everything I need for when I travel and get a cheap netbook to use it with. |

Patriot Xporter XT Boost 32GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable)
Cons:Could use some more lighting
Pros:For a 32GB drive, it's fast. Comment:
I was expecting this drive to be slow considering the size but I was surprised that I was able to transfer an 8GB folder in about 3-4 minutes. The added bonus is the lanyard that is included and the nice rugged feel of the housing, knowing that if I drop it, the drive won't break or I won't lose my data. |

Very Good Needs Cap retainer
Comment:
Needs to be design where the USB plug cap is attached to the body and does not come off in computer case or my pocket |

poor quality, good storage device
Comment:
This thing is fast, but it is super flimsy. I bumped it with a pillow and the drive fails to read now. I opened it up and the solder joints cracked that hold down the USB connections. If it was left plugged in a computer, it would be great, not recommended for laptops or other mobile devices |

Patriot Xporter XT Boost 32GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable)
Comment:
This is a blazing fast drive, and reliable, but it's not made of titanium, those who review poorly have damaged it themselves and it's user error if the drive says less than 32gb....also that's what you get when you don't get a quality PC (crap MB), ...newbies. would recommend this drive to anyone. tried on 2k-xp-vista-ubuntu, no problems, driverless install on all. |

Patriot Xporter XT Boost 32GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable)
Comment:
I lost the cap at least 9 times and was lucky enough to locate it. For the first 2 months it was incredible for the price. However, if you are using a laptop where you pick up the device while the USB drive is connected, beware. Nudging it slightly will cause it slowly break the tip loose from the circuit board internally. Mine has just stopped functioning entirely and the USB tip wiggles freely. I have had a 1 gig USB flash drive that I've had for years and it never had this problem. |

Patriot Xporter XT Boost 32GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable)
Cons:USB cap falls off easily enough as it is (1 day of use). I wonder how it will do in a few months.
Pros:Decent transfer speed, solid, grippy, very large space! Comment:
Overall great buy for the price and everything. I use this for my car and I don't even notice any wait or problems with the sound etc. Transferring music from my computer to the flash drive, I get on average 9.8MB a sec. |

I bought this Flashdrve back in September 2008, very expensive and at the beginning was an excellent tool; after 4 months suddenly it died; I lost all my data stored in the Flash drive and when I tried to get the warranty from patriot they never answer the phone and you have to write an essay to tech support and then pray to get an answer |

Patriot Xporter XT Boost 32GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable)
Comment:
I purchased this drive on 2/27 and am very satisfied with it. Plugged it in, it showed 29.8G available, and have had no problems at all. Write speed is better than most. Add to it the $20 rebate and it is one heck of a deal at $49.99. About the only thing I would like is if the cap was a little bit tighter. |

Patriot Xporter XT Boost 32GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable)
Cons:none so far
Pros:Decent speedsGood warrantyTrusted brandCheapest 32GB drivelots of spaceWater proof Comment:
Bought this to backup my PS3 hard drive so speed wasn't a big concern. Not that the speeds are bad, they are pretty good. I've never had a problem with Patriot products, and they have lifetime warranty. This was the cheapest 32GB drive (after rebate). The entire casing is made of rubber. Comes with a lanyard and a short USB extension cable. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-04-09 01:00 AM |

Great product specially for the price! What a bargain. Some stores sell this for more than 100 bucks. I can't believe Tiger can sell this for less than half of what the competitors are selling this for. Just make sure you plug this into a high-speed USB port, otherwise, it will not work. Tiger Direct YOU ARE THE BEST!!! |

Purchased two of these after carrying a 2GB and a 8 GB flash drive with all my misc data on them. This thing is super fast, and I like the rubber type case it's made of. If you want to have a super fast flash drive and something that you can keep ''ALL'' of your data on so you don't have to carry two or three of these with you, BUY THIS ONE, and it will be your very last one you buy!! I have not experienced any problems at all with this flash drive. Would not consider any other one. Service was superb from ''Tiger Direct''. Arrived in two days after placement of the order. |

Patriot Xporter XT Boost 32GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable)
Cons:Not very fast
Pros:High capacity and low cost Comment:
Not a bad experience with this item. Don't expect high speeds or anything but this has worked great when we use it to hold pics (LOTS of pics) for use in a digital picture frame. It gets a bit warm but it's been on non-stop for over a month now and there have been no problems. File transfer speed was somewhere around 2MB/s so NOT GOOD but whatever. |
I went looking for the fastest thumb drive out there for a reasonable price and I have to say that I am extremely satisfied. I was able to copy 5 GB of data from my laptop on to this drive in a little less than 5 minutes. Now I only have 27 GB free, whatever will I do...
