I have many Patriot Xporter drives of varying capacity, which include the 8GB. They are fast, sturdy, effectively-produced and dependable. I have attempted various other brands but this is the one particular I like ideal, once again and once again. None, nada, zippo. I wish they came in various colors for color coding by capacity or by info held on the drive.

Good transfer speeds so far. Noticeably faster than my earlier 1GB Lexar, but on a side note that Lexar did survive a cycle in both the washing machine and dryer. It seems to be fairly durable and solidly built. The cap seems like it could be lost very very easily thinking about it only slides on and doesn't snap and has no strap to attach it to the drive itself. Other than that, absolutely nothing to speak of. Water-proof and shock proof for this low cost? Count me in. Awesome drive.

it's compatible with the xbox 360, good value. It doesn't fit in the back usb port of the xbox 360

act LED is nice and bright factors toward you if in a monitor USB at school, so you know its becoming accessed, good cap/cost ratio , rubber case is durable and takes a beating, on sale ... lanyard is just a rubber loop could tear quickly ...wish cap had a retaining tab...it comes off simple to shed ...but has stayed on for the most aspect.need to have bought two, writes and reads are slowish

Size is brilliant, speed is lightning rapid, quite uncomplicated to use, rubber casing tends to make it really simple to grip and it seems incredibly durable if dropped or stepped on. The important ring is flexible and simple to slide on to my key ring, however the rubber is pretty flimsy and tore easily. I ended up losing mine soon after possessing it for barely a week simply because the key ring tore and the complete thing fell off my important ring for the duration of a road trip. It's a large shame due to the fact it's such a high overall performance flash drive, but I seriously don't want to spend for a new drive after losing the 1st 1 in a week and a half.

Rapid flash drivelooks and feels greatsturdy came close to losing the cap various instances already. though the cap is detachable and possibly uncomplicated to shed, , the cap fits on the back of the flash drive fairly nicely and seldom comes off by accident.

great flash drive. i am going to be purchasing a 32Gig and a 16Gig. quite impressed with this flash drive. like to durable rubber coat.loads are quickly.writes are rapid. all about fantastic flash drive this is not a con on the flash drive, patriot makes a fantastic flash drive but their desktop memory is but to be desired.have 2 flash drives and the work great. i have had 3 sets of desktop memoty and DOA excellent flash drive worth every penny. look forward to finding the larger size flash drive from them

I watch most Tv shows taped/DVDed simply because I don't have time. My daughter ྵ) saw one and mentioned, Mom, you have a USB port on your new Tv! (Actually two.) What a concept! Instead of making a DVD I place them on the flash! She plugged it. Remarkable! I even believed about acquiring a few additional, ideal right after the realization hit that they don't scratch, my 2yo granddaughter can't reach them whilst they are in the Tv and no one removes them, sets them down and locations something on top rated of them. They also hold 13 episodes or multiple motion pictures. This was definately a excellent buy.

1. Very solid really feel to this drive - Tough beneath any conditions.2. 24-27MB read speeds - 13-15MB createthree. Good price for 8MB 1. No lanyard for the drivetwo. A bit thicker then most drives. I use this drive to transfer data from my Mac to my windows 7 box.

Fast! Incredibly rapidly. Can absolutely inform a difference in system performance with this unit as my Ready Boost drive. Drive looks sleek and has Wish there was a leash on the tip as it can be lost extremely quickly. Not worth dinging an egg more than as this is accurate with most jump drive suggestions but nonetheless some thing I wish was there. I have had really a few jump drives over the years and this a single screams top quality in both speed and construction. Hope I have it for years to come

I've had this for about 8 months. In that time I've dropped it on the ground at a gas station only to uncover it a day later, fell on it much more occasions than I can recall, and dropped it way too quite a few occasions (yeah it's been a rough year). This drive has survived it all and nevertheless runs great (and more rapidly than any other drive I've had). I realized more than that last few months I would like a lot more space. Also, the price of being practically indestructible is a rubber exterior which is kind of huge.

Quick and very good capacity Died after moderate usage of about 14 months. I agree with these who hold this item high, but I wish it had been (much) a lot more robust. I am a backup freak, so didn't loose valuable information, but, as Murphy's engineering law dictates, when anything ca go incorrect, it certainly will, and at the worst time. S.

8GB is plenty of space, operates well with big files and other objects, seems quickly as given, but... Can't copy a precise 4GB file of mine (one of the purposes of this obtain). Windows says not enough space to copy the file?!?! Naturally this is erroneous, but failed to ascertain the bring about after substantial troubleshooting, formatting, and other approaches to get the drive to accept the 4GB file.
