Very fast. I use it for loading iso images and can tranfer a full dvd worth of data extremely rapid. Had bought a different mem stick earlier and this a single is very easily ten times as rapid. None Don't settle for a lower end memory stick. When moving significant amounts of data an hour vs ten minutes makes a enormous difference.

Nothing unique, looks nice. ITs too fat, at times tough to plug into distinct ports.cap is easily lost.Not as quickly as i thought. Its about same speed as a regular HDD so transfering things wont wow you.

Low-cost and Durable None. Ran memtest bootable off this without difficulties at all. Have installed Win7 Ultimate from it too with no problems. Nice thumb drive.

Very best flash drive I've ever owned. Fastest transfer speeds I've observed on a thumb drive, and it's the most durable I've observed as nicely. It could be a bit bulky but that adds power in my eyes. Nope, I'm goin' all in on this 1. Buy it if you are sick of all your other flash drives dying and not lasting very long.

I got this for my dad, he doesn't use it very much. Almost everything seems fine. Looks cool I guess. No troubles so far. Kinda bulky.

Rapidly, I like the rubber housing, it appears to be great protection from impact should it be dropped.Wonderful storage capacity Cant feel of any. I purchased 6 of these while they were on sale, I am really pleased with them.

8gb is cool. Rubber coating makes it easy to grip IS a little bulky, so i believe it won't fit into tight spaces Worth the price

The drive is great. It's the right size and it's fast. The only issue with it is that the internal components are still as flimsy as any USB thumb drive. Be careful not to break the USB connector.Other than the above issue, this drive is very nice a durable on the outside.

Fastest flash drive I own. Great price. Rubber loop for lanyard nonetheless holding robust for me. Soon after just a couple of weeks of light use it slowed downed to a crawl. I went back to the Newegg evaluations to see if any person else had experienced this and there were fairly a couple of. The manufacturer had responded to numerous posts offering a low level format tool upon request. I utilised the tool as soon as and it works just fine now and at the advertised speeds. My con is in all probability uncommon and was fixed with very small effort so it doesn't warrant an egg becoming docked in my book.

massive capacity, works quick enogh the cap doesnt stick to the back-finish of it (while in use) really nicely. suspect it could get lost at some point rubberized. got this to replace a sandisk that got sucked up in a vaccuum cleaner. (surprisingly, it worked following re-assembly, but didnt take chances and moved the files more than to this Patriot asap)

Overall, the USB could be a bit smaller, but it makes up for it's "lack of portability" by offering awesome transfer speeds and a nice rugged rubber protective design

It seems dependable so far. 1) It's massive.two) It's rubbery surface together w/ it's large size make it incredibly hard for a man to carry in his pocket as a key fob. The rubber surface makes it not want to slide in and out of pockets, and the bulky form factor makes it not ride comfy in 1's pocket.three) The cap is straightforward to loose.4) This is no quicker than any other flash drive regardless of claims from manufacturer and consumers. The original Kingston Data Traveler Elite remains the only truly fast flash thumb drive. I have bench marked thumb drives on linux, DOS and windows in copying files to and from SSDs and HDDs. They are all essentially the similar speed, particularly for a big number of smaller files even on SSD to flash drive copies where HDD mechanical latencies are not applicable, regardless of filesystem or operating technique, though linux file technique is slightly quicker. The benchmark also remains unchanged regardless of whether carried out on a machine with two GB of DDR RAM or 1 with 8 GB of DDR3 1600. Exceptional in all technical aspects, works good with prepared increase although leaving space behind. none A little massive if you have a computer with a lot of usb devices, it can get in the way. I also lost the cap after about a week.

-The rubber casing is extremely thick and protective. Its glued on so it won't come off straightforward. Defiantly shock and water resistant.-Its fairly fast for a flash drive but it didn't definitely make a noticeable distinction in my opinion.-Looks good, blue LED is nice. I like blue LEDs. -For becoming a "nicer" flash drive it positive didn't last that long. I purchased it from Newegg a year ago when it was on sale and it worked excellent until this week it just died. I'd plug it in to use it and it wouldn't get energy or be recognized by windows. I took it apart immediately after many tries to get it to work. I cut the rubber outside off. The inside is just a very thin transparent plastic flash drive. I took the board out of the plastic case and figured out what failed on it. One of the chips that was soldered to the board had lost its solder and was just not attached anymore. I believe possibly it got too a lot power 1 of the times I employed it on my laptop............could be many items.-it is annoyingly too thick a lot of the time. The protective covering makes it really thick for a thumb drive, and it commonly blocks an adjacent USB slot. -Its a great drive, but mine didn't last that long, so =P-I'd be careful for those that still have it. The outside is extremely sturdy but the inside is not. If you put too considerably pressure up or down on the USB plug though its in a socket, you can bend the inside fairly a bit. The board inside the flash drive will bow with just a bit of force.-I know electronic devices far more than other factors are prone to getting defects in them that trigger them to fail prematurely, but I figured a drive like this really should at least last two years, not just 1.

Linux shows an average 27 MB/s during reads. None Have owned/used this flash drive for two years... still works as quickly as the very first day.

It transfers quicker than my bought at a common mega store 4GB cheapo flash drive. The rubber mold about it is nice for clumsiness. Not truly a con to me, but to other people it could be. Because of the thick rubber coating and for those who only have USB ports that are right next to one a different on the back of the computer (mostly older PC’s) you would not be able to have another device plugged in at the exact same time as this drive. When once more modern PC’s must not have any complications. I would suggest this to folks who carry their flash drives about with them or tend to be clumsy with little items.

- quickly and reliable- price - attracts lint from anything - I've had other flash drives prior to but this one is properly worth it. It hasn't broken down but, has a significant enough capacity and is cheap to boot.
