I got 3 of these 2 years ago, they are still holding up like new. they are waterproof, accidently forgot in my pocket, and my mom threw it in the washer. worked like new :). I couldnt be happier with the usb drive, its also very fast compared to other flash drives, I also like the feel of it.

They are perfect. I can attach to briefcase and not worry when I toss the briefcase in my car,another brand failed. They are fast and efficent. I'll probably buy a couple more.

good value for an 8g flash drive, transfer speed is unexpectedly fast for a flash drive of its price range. Not sure if it's actually water/shock proof, don't intend to try on purpose. It is quite big though so if you have two usb ports in close proximity you might not be able to make use of the other port once this is plugged in, but the flash drive does come with an extension cord to ease the problem (which is surprisingly useful). I do find that, however, the string attachment is unnecessary, making the already big flash drive even more inconvenient to carry so don't even bother with that piece of crap. Overall a highly recommendable flash drive from almost every aspect.

It's a very nice 8 gig flash drive. It feels very well constructed and the rubber coating provides ample protection from accidental dropping. It's got a nice blue light near the end on the top so you can both easily tell right side up as well as when it's being worked. Included with the drive itself are a small USB extension cable and a neck strap to wear it around. The end cap is flexible rubber which easily protects the end and at the same time provided nice grip and feels like it doesn't loosen. The cap does fit over the end of the drive when it's plugged in (even if you've got the neck strap bit attached) so it really helps with making sure you don't loose it. A very nice drive that you can trust to hold your data.

Works great, very fast... but the rubberized exterior makes it kinda bulky and doesn't always fit into some USB ports.

Hard to review a USB stick, but from all the ones I have tried in the past, this one surpasses ALL of them. Even works great under Windows 7 when using it for the memory boost feature.

This usb drive really amazes me with its speed and durability. I get sustained writes of about 20mb/s with small files and 10mb/s with files larger than 1Gb.The usb it self is pretty bulky compared to standard usb thumb drives, but the extension cord that comes with it will minimize the space needed to plug into the usb port. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

I needed space to transfer files from computer to computer and to store back. this was perfect. plugged it into USB port and the rest is history. I recommend this to anyone

This is the 6th one I bought. The first was over a year ago. I use these primarily to replace floppy drives and as backup. The amount of data I put on them a year is about 9M bytes. With no moving parts these should last forever.

It works the same as any other flash drive or memory card I own. You buy it by memory space,right. With this one the price is right for the files it can hold. I like it and would recomand it.

The Xporter XT jump drive is one of the best I have owned, or for that matter seen. I have already stored all my portable files, all I need to carry that is. It's like having a file cabinet in your pocket. Anywhere I go so goes all my URLs, passwords, encoded and locked of course and just to save space in the old wallet, several hundred MBs of pictures. Lets see you do that with snapshots.!!! No problems with it being recognized in different systems, have used it in six or seven PC and two laptops. On one I had to go to ''My Computer'' and pick it up that way. Only that once. I really like the rubber jacket and it fits just fine with another jump drive just below it in the computer. Fast, yes, what more to be said. Easy to use, just plug and play. My old jump drive I had to download a driver, not this one. A great jump drive at a fantastic price. I am thinking of buying several as gifts, maybe I can get a price break. lol

Bought it to counter the shipping cost for another item, seems to be fast for a usb2 drive, has 8gb of space, build quality is fairly high, have not tested getting it wet. Should be noted the cap is entirely rubber, and similar to other simple cap drives, may not fit as tightly after some time. If like me, and needed to add a cheap item to push the total price over $100 to see the benefit of free shipping, add one of these.

I bought this thinking what a great deal. After i used it for about a month it just stopped being recognized by any of my pc's unless i use it in a usb hub. I have pc's with Vista, Windows 7, and XP. Will not work directly in USB drive. I have tried looking for drivers in case that was the issue and they don't offer any support at all.

This product works ok with pc's but would not work properly with my macbook. I could load about 500 mb to the flash drive and then It would quit working
