Has performed as expected so far. Not the best value... Since purchasing this product have found comparable sticks for less. As for the quality; drive is great but could have put a little more thought into the loop to attach "rope"... Rubber???????? Don't expect the loop to last 3 months.

It is a fairly cheap 8gb model. Durable, reliable, the only problem I see is that the write speed is very slow (7-10mb/s). The read speed is great @ 25-30mb/s. I expected a bit better performance from this or else I would have gone with the cheapest 8gb.

I am especially pleased with the Patriot Xporter because there was nothing to install like some flash drives have. I can not stand to have to install something on a flash drive when all I want to put on it is, what I want to put on it! The only thing about it that I do not like is the cap can become easily lost which is a minimal problem compared to the value and size.

I bought this item last time it was on sale.... it refused to work after the first week!! now ITS SITTING THERE WITH DATA I CANT GET OFF!!! I tried to contact PATROIT since they say is guaranteed BUT NO LUCK there either so there it sits!!

This product is a great performer, very fast write speed, even faster read speed. Good capacity. The only downside is the wierd rubbery texture, but even that can be an advantage if you have a tendency to drop things.

Im extremely happy with this flash drive. like others have said you wont need another one. Fast, durable and sharp looking too. AMAZING for an extra 4gb of "Ready Boost" for Vista (what im using it for) boots the PC in like 10 seconds.

Tested against 8GB Flash drive I've had for about 6 months. Recorded the same data (55 files, 262MB) in about 1/3 the time.

You probably won't need another UBS Flash Drive. 8GIG is enormous, considering... it transfers as fast as USB2 will go (25MB/s) wich is pretty good. It's built inside a thick rubber housing so no worries about dropping it. Plus it makes it look cool :P I'm verry satisfied by this particular purchase...
