It seems silly to me that wall mounts cost so much to begin with. I wouldn't recommend this product for smaller TVs. The bars that attach to the TV extend 3 inches past the top of the TV, so I imagine it would be much worse for smaller TVs. All in all, this product is perfect for my setup.

This works great for mounting a TV to the wall but making the TV able to tilt down where you want it without taking it off the wall seems rather difficult. Not sure it it is the safety behind the product or something. Good buy as long as you have a helper if you don't hang it right.

The instructions that come with this mount are slightly misleading. There should be one more step listed. You must mount the lower screw on each rail first by sliding it down the rail. If you come straight in from above, you'll screw through a metal mount thereby disabling the tilt action. After 4 hours of scratching my head, I finally figured this out. I'll definitely buy this product again because it's the best value for the money, but I'll be sure to remember this tricky part!

holds my 42 in plasma up fine. had to mount it farther off center than the manual says, but still works fine. Not too difficult to instal. There was a steel bar blocking the ability to tilt that I had to rip off with a pair of pliers though.
