Philips Brilliance 22" WideScreen LCD - Black
Cons:only a one-year warranty
Pros:1680x1050 and not 1920x1080 Comment:
For $150, the quality is impressive. The colour is excellent and the text is sharp. A resolution of 1680x1050 is much better for office use than is 1920x1080, which is unfortunately becoming the norm. |

Philips Brilliance 22" WideScreen LCD - Black
Cons:- none so far
Pros:- Nice and big (obviously)- looks very nice- no dead pixels Comment:
First LCD I've ever owned. I use this screen instead of my laptop screen which is a pain to look at at times, due to the screen size. If you aren't too picky about the screen resolutions, then this is a good buy when on sale. I like this monitor, and I believe it's a good choice that I made. Sure they might sell this for cheaper later, but I honetsly couldn't stand using a laptop screen as my monitor. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-06-09 04:37 PM |

Philips Brilliance 22" WideScreen LCD - Black
Cons:No DVI cable included
Pros:Looks greatAffordableNo dead pixels Comment:
This is more or less a standard LCD with a TN panel. It looks very nice though - the LEDs especially give it slick look. I feel a little gyped that it's 1680x1050 when I could've paid a bit more for 1920x1080. However, as it's for a budget gaming rig, the video card wouldn't really cut it at 1920 resolution anyway, so I guess it's an appropriate choice. Also good for people with poor vision since the DPI is lower. |

Philips Brilliance 22" WideScreen LCD - Black
Cons:None really. the cd it came with doesn't read in my drive for some reason...
Pros:Big, clear, looks fantastic Comment:
I was really scared to order this monitor because I got it as an open box special, and when it arrived there was a huge gash in the side of the box right to the monitor. So I grabbed my cell phone and snapped a pic to make sure I had evidence if it was damaged. When I opened it up there was a post-it note that was pointing to a "dead pixel" which also scared the crap out of me, but I plugged it in and alas, no dead pixel! Great monitor, and Philips is definitely a name you can trust. |

Philips Brilliance 22" WideScreen LCD - Black
Cons:No DVI cable
Pros:22" WSBrightness 300 compared to 250Power LED changable from 1 LED to 4 LEDEasy to use color, brightness, calibration tool Comment:
I just hooked mine up today. Got 1 dead pixel. I had better luck with my first BengQ 17" LCD. No dead pixels for that old one. This monitor is good for everyday usage. Monitor is used for video watching, Internet, and MS Office programs.Haven't tried playing games on this mon yet. |
A very good monitor, with standard dvi-d and vga connectors. One of the few left in 16:10 and non glossy! For the price (under 200$) can't complain much.
