Far from the Best
Comment:
So far I haven't been able to get it to do anything but lock up my computer. After reading some of the other replies I will look deeper into the setup instructions and maybe I will find out something I am missing. I have been working with computers for over 25 years. I had less problems with devises back in the old MS DOS days. This will probably end up in the trash can. |

Inexpensive, very muddy results. Grainy, grainy, grain, with odd color results. |

Installation is tricky, but works fine.
Comment:
I read the reviews before I bought this, so I anticipated installation problems. When istalling the programs you receive with the product you get an error message when you use the setup.exe file that they say to use, so you need to dig deeper into the subdirectories and use those associated setup files. Once that's done it works fine. I copied about ten VHS's of home movies without a problem. |

Tough to use
Comment:
Although it may be due to my lack of computer skills, I found the Dazzle difficult to use. Instructions were not for the beginner. I ended up taking my tape to a camera shop to have transferred to a DVD. |

Does what is claimed
Comment:
For a good job, you need a bit more computer performance than what is the stated minimum requirement. |

after you buy this device and install software it wants you to pay extra for the |
I just purchased this to move old home movies and I must say this thing works great. Just install the software, plug this up to the computer, and then hook a VCR up it to record your movies. You can either save them to the hard drive or write directly to the DVD disk. I would recommend it to anyone that is a little tech literate.
