Plextor 128GB SLIMM.2 Form Factore 770MB/S Read 335MB/S Write Solid State Drive SSD
Cons:green pcbnot quite 770MB/s reads
Pros:fastno cables Comment:
Bought this to use as a boot drive in an Asus Z97-Deluxe board. Very fast drive, benched at 707MB/s Reads and 330 MB/s Writes. No cables reduces clutter. Would be nice if the PCB came in black. |

Plextor 128GB SLIMM.2 Form Factore 770MB/S Read 335MB/S Write Solid State Drive SSD
Cons:Only one, price is a bit high.
Pros:Reads speeds faster than any SATA SSD, writes comparable to other 128GB high performance SATA SSDsCompact and perfect for super small cases, laptops and mobile platforms with an M.2 connectorNo cables Comment:
I have this hidden away on the backside of a Z97I-Plus, no cables to run, no drive bays to fill, extremely fast read speeds with fast write speeds comparable to high performance 128GB SATA drives.Only negative I can come up with is being expensive compared to most 128GB and some 256GB SATA SSDs. Purchased this for my primary archlinux install. The system cold boots into the desktop in just 15 seconds. The green PCB doesn't seem to be so bad, like some other reviewers say.Installation process is trial-by-error because no instruction manual. On my motherboard the side with the sticker goes face up. And you have to push it all the way into the m.2 slot, otherwise it will not be recognized by the system.
