Its really, cheap, and its got fantastic overclockability, good characteristics, etc... I was in adore with this card due to the fact the moment i first booted up my personal computer and began testing it out. It went far beyond my expectations. Its got almost everything. I upgraded from a 8600gt so the performance boost is unbelievable. The drivers for the card that come on the cd include things like a constructed in overclocking utility which is nice. Its got vga, dvi,and hdmi out. It runs just about any game with ease. Overall, this card was just fantastic and i would reccomend it to anybody. No troubles at all so far. For the cost, you can't get a superior deal than this.

The functionality is fantastic! Fan can be incredibly noisy, but I won't take an egg for that. The card is fantastic! I wonder how this baby will behave in Crysis two, just downloaded a demo.

Good, cheap GPU. Plays all of my games on higher settings and 1080p. BC2: Vietnam, Crysis, Dragon Age 2. A little ugly but hey, what ever it nevertheless stays cool. ATI drivers are kind of annoying but playing about with them makes it operate. Was seeking for a low cost card as part of my below 600 upgrade construct. Playing Crysis 2 on "high" settings in the 40-50fps range, perfectly capable of playing Shogun two, Dawn of War two, Starcraft two, etc at 1920x1080. Actually great bang for the buck. Cool & quiet. Not a large deal but the cooler naturally doesn't vent out the back of the slot.

Certainly awesome for what you spend for, i went from barely operating most of my games to operating them all on ultra settings with more than twice the FPS of just before. good obtain for the economic client, with or with no the crossfiring becoming employed. Can run most games at max settings with at least 40-60 FPS becoming maintained, giving you fantastic smooth graphics, and thats with no crossfiring two or four of them. When again wonderful..for what you pay for. It's clearly not a top rated of the market place graphics card so if you want top of the line overall performance its not for you.

update to techie 1-18-11. since my first evaluation i have tested a 2nd 5770 and a 5750 each with the usual identical reported problems with the 57xx series. both have been test on my personal all ATI method so hardware and computer software difficulties not getting a factor. i had the usual resets(grey screens W/ gpu recover disabled)but only with overclocks and only with temps more than 60C(had to unplug side fan) as this is 45nm it cant deal with 70C as 55nm could. outstanding item getting a poor name the only difficulty with these cards imo is they get poor owners and have a pre-programed need to have to survive. take care of your stuff and it will take care of you.as a second note for the ati nubs with there memory oc'ed to 1350, the quickest ati system can only make use of about 5Gb/per sec񡽢mhz) gpu memory data price. no wonder its crashing. why do think the 5870 dosent come stock with 1000000mhz memory? if you have heard of ventilation(gpu temps 55C or much less) i would propose 925񳃒 if you require to oc.

Been using it continuously for about 4 months. Plays all my games maxed out at a 1680x1050 resolution (Crysis Warhead, Battlefield BC 2, Resident Evil five, etc.)Stays cool. It was a somewhat of a pain to install the drivers. Windows 7 64 bit was finding mad at it. Amazing price for what you're finding. Opinion could be a little biased for I upgraded computer systems and went from a GeForce 6800 GT to the Radeon HD 5770.

This was my initially PowerColor buy. I had often considered them a reduced tier manufacturer, but the top quality of the card was excellent. It was a quite good hunting video card. I really wish I could speak to the performance of the card, but... ...the motherboard I tried installing this video card to is the MSI K9A Platinum. It has the AMD 580X chipset which, apparently, is incompatible with the Radeon 5xxx series. The Pc wouldn't even boot. Granted, this is a 4 year old motherboard, but AMD bought ATI around this time, and you'd consider they could have come up with a driver fix for the 580X chipset by now. I tested an nVidia GTX 460 in this motherboard and it worked flawlessly, so the PCI Express x16 v1. common can't be an issue right here. This was NOT the fault of PowerColor, but of AMD. For all I know, PowerColor is a high quality manufacturer and I won't hesitate to get from them again. I WILL consider twice about getting an AMD graphics card and expect it to play good with an AMD based motherboard. And if there IS a driver repair for this, it'd be nice if AMD or MSI made it a little much easier to uncover. Five "eggs" for PowerColor; One "egg" for AMD = a three "egg" typical.

Exceptional. Dollars worth with this graphics. There might be more affordable but you get what you spend for. Scored a 7.4 anolog VGA and a 7.9 HDMI in the Windows 7 index rating. Plays Require for speed pro crystal clear with no flickers or blurs. You could'nt ask for greater. None. This product is great. No complaints. I would by once more from this manufacture.Nice Shipping and pakcing from Newegg. Prompt and that produced everthing work nicely. I knew that New egg was depenable on shipping so I ordered my bulk for my create at NewEgg. five star as properly NewEgg group.

Efficiency was incredibly great (as anticipated) with this card. Along with other new pc parts, this would deal with all the games I play at highest quality settings. Upgraded from a GeForce 8800GT 512MB and I assume this was a worthy upgrade around 贶. Just popped into PCI-E slot, plugged in six-pin connector, installed Catalyst drivers ten.7 and had no difficulties at all. Can push most games to higher, or incredibly high, settings with little difficulty. Extremely pleased with the fact that this runs far cooler as properly. Single slot card a plus. Fan runs far much more quietly than my cpu fan (Zalman). Can run Far Cry 2 at maxed out settings except AA at 2x and it runs extremely well and looks excellent! None, greatest card for 贶.

I commonly run my monitor at 1600x1050, so wasn't hunting for a monster card (it's a 24 inch wide screen monitor that I sit about 18 inches from), just some thing a bit more rapidly with much more modern support. Playing Rift at High Settings with AA on, 8x Anisotropic filtering. Can get Ultra settings by minimizing draw distance and ground clutter. Sure, I'm not going to be playing Crysis 2 at Ultra settings...but then, I'm not seriously searching to. :)

Smaller sized design and style fits into mid tower cases (mine at least - Antec 300) with plenty of area to spare. Low energy consumption - only requirements a 450W PSU. No bat mobile shroud. It's only 贶! For that you get highly effective mid-grade card that will quickly handle DX10 & DX11 games at high resolution and higher eye candy settings. All variations of the 5770 series cards gets highly favorable gaming testimonials. This card performs nearly identicall to the 4870 series but the 5770's are DX11. None of the 5770 series overclocks much. This one is no exception but there's certainly not a lot point if the card comes close to max speed. Meh! Fan is a bit loud but I don't care because I've got six fans in the case...what's a different fan.It's not a 5800 or 5900...but then once more, it didn't cost what they do. :o) This card replaced a fairly good performer in my 4830. Fits into a single slot fine, functions with my antec 380d green ps, functions with a pcieX16 bus. The fan on mine is barely audible, just 1 stage up from silent/passive Made in china, The fan is barely audible, but you gotta expect that. I wanted the most vidcard I could afford +- 贄, to fit into an aging GW htpc. Only had 1 pcieX16 slot and a 380 watt ps to perform with. My ps has a 12v plug for a vidcard and I wanted to implement that. This card did all that. Crossfire guys note, mine didn't come with a bridge and I don't know if this card even will CF. Wasn't an challenge with me but I'll be maintaining this card and believed later I may possibly double up.

Was capable to OC to 925MHz GPU Clock, and 1305 Memory clock.I can run WoW at a 1680 x 1050 resolution with at max settings with a low of 57FPS at graphic intensive moments. Can't pick 1300 as an alternative for the Memory clock...absolutely nothing wrong with that...just me being OCD.If the reason you're receiving this single slot card is because of space, the fan sticks out far sufficient for it to be an challenge in some areas. You have to like the value and the way this factor fits in on a motherboard without becoming a single of the brick cards. It's about as quick and effective as they get. This video card is the best Radeon 5700 series for the price tag, hands down. If you are on a price range, and need to have some fantastic graphics for gaming (not spectacular, very good) then this is the card for you. I can't assume of any at the moment. The installation was simple, and it functions fairly well. Usually I favor Nvidia hardware, but I woke up 1 day, and found a Crossfire supported motherboard in my machine, so I had no other choice. This card makes me take back some of the expletives I have shouted in the previous towards Radeon.

PowerColor is excellent! Not actually a well known company (I really never heard of them until I purchased this), but they actually exceeded my expectations, not to mention this is a 5770 with 1 GB GDDR5 and CrossFireX ready, even though doesn't come with a bridge for it. This beast is truly overkill for any games out nowadays. It defaulted to Ultra settings in StarCraft two, and got a 7.6 WEI which is quite remarkable considering the existing max is 7.9. NONE! Get this Video Card!
