Not sure if these card is unlockable to 6970 (haven't tried) however it runs BF3 on ultra uavg 40-50fps. Very quiet and temps are low. Going to buy another to crossfire in the future.

Cons:none yet

Pros:does what I need it to do
Comment:
It's a graphics card, and it lets you play games at decent settings - not much more to say. A little nitpicking from me would be that Powercolor probably used a cooling solution from a more powerful card as I can see that there is empty space for two more heatpipes. It runs cool enough as-is, but that extra space could have been utilized.

Good card for the price. Runs my games on maxed. Bf3 40-60 fps ultra settings. I'm really happy with this card. I really liked the red pcb even if some people saying that red pcb is kinda lame for them but for me it's perfect for my rig, matched with my red cathodes, red fans and mobo with black pcb. Gonna buy again if Im going t have extra money. Im just a student lol.

Absolutely fantastic card for the price ($209.99 after rebate). To the guy above complaining about the miniDP to 'weird hdmi' adapter... well, the problem is that the included adapter is a mini displayport to *full displayport* adapter!

PowerColor Radeon HD 6950 AX6950 2GBD5-2DH Video Card with Eyefinity
Cons:the red pcb does not match my blue pcb on motherboard.

Pros:shaders unlock to 6970 using RBE, and used RacerX CCC registry edit to overclock ram and gpu to 6970 speeds. Got 2 of these to run BF3.
Comment:
Got 2 of these on the Cyber monday deal. These will not take the 6970 bios if you flash them. (Blue Screen on boot or no post) I had to extract the bios and unlocked shaders with RBE. also can not change the memory speed past 1350 in the bios. It also causes bluescreen on boot or no post. So i had to use the RacerX CCC registry edit to be able to overclock memory past 1350 in AMD Overdrive.

Cons:Can't flash to 6970 biosIt looks cheap

Pros:Unlock shaders to 6970 levelYou'll never use 2GB shaders on a display res under 1920x1200Runs most games at max
Comment:
It's a good card. Keeps cool and quiet, and overclocks decently. It's just too bad that powercolor decided to go with a cheap looking fan bracket. For being $50 cheaper than the other 6950's, this is no biggie.Buy it if you've got a large screen res, or would like to "futureproof". If you don't want to do either, grab the 1GB model. There's no difference in performance in new games such as Battlefield 3.

Comment:
I got this card to upgrade from my 260GTX BE, and the performance bump is nice. Awesome framerates while playing on ultra settings, with quiet operation and low temps. If people think this is a loud card, they maybe got a lemon or something, this card is really quiet(even with two fans!) under load.Be prepared, however, to be a little skeptical of the construction. While the heatpiping is a reassuring feature, the card is encased in a really cheap, easily bendable plastic, and the fitting is not as flawless as I have seen from other manufacturers in the past. Be gentle when you install!Overall, however, I am very pleased with the card. This is my first powercolor card and as long as the card keeps doing what it's doing now, I would consider buying from them again.

Purchased to replace dual 5750s in Crossfire - much cooler solution running about 38C idle with a 21C ambient temp. Can't comment on the other reviewers, but my particular example runs fairly quiet. Dual fans idle at 20% and haven't gone past 60% while gaming in Starcraft II, Dungeon Seige III or Dragon Age II.

Cons:Very Loud, Can't find a way to use the included displayport > hdmi converter, none of the connectors or cables I try fit on the odd shaped hdmi connection.

Pros:Great performance
Comment:
Fyi on those interested in the price on this card, be aware that this card is not quiet. It is quite loud even when viewing flash or video on youtube and is even more so in a game.I have it in a system with a Fractal XL case, and this card is significantly louder then the two 4850's in crossfire that I used to have in the system.Performance seems good though, but, the sound from it is rather disappointing.

PowerColor Radeon HD 6950 AX6950 2GBD5-2DH Video Card with Eyefinity
Cons:- Fairly large card, may not fit in some cases- Power Color RMA isn't greatest for anyone that would ever need it

Pros:- Good price for a higher end card, solid performance on ultra quality in Battlefield 3- Quieter than the XFX 6950, dual fan design- Unlocked to a 6970 (results may vary)
Comment:
The Power Color 6950 2GB is a solid card for the price, especially with the MIR. It runs quietly while managing to stay cool on its stock cooler. Runs most modern games on max settings on 1080p. The 2GB is great for anyone using Eyefinity. I would definitely buy another if I didn't already have a XFX 6950 as well.

I have been holding on to my 4850 X2 for a few years now thinking my gaming couldn't get better. after buying this card and playing all my games at max setting without a hick up i am very impressed. oh the 4850 X2 would play on high settings but not maxed out this card does easily. Avg 40-50 fps high setting on 4850 Now on 6950 70-100 fps maxed out

Picked this up in store, with rebate. Mine did not have a dual BIOS switch, at least none I could find.Had some CCC issues, it didn't want to work with .NET 4 without .NET 3.5 also still installed. Once working, overclocks of 900/1350 benched well, so I moved on to unlocking the shaders. Winflash didn't want to work using a few downloaded BIOS, so I used RBE to backup mine, unlock shaders, save, then loaded that one using Winflash, with no problems.Furmark burnin showed increase of over 40% frames during burnin test, with the combined unlock/oc and requisite power increase.Glad to have performance very close to 6970, for a nice price. I also prefer rebates over free games. Quality really surprised me, I was expecting much less. Even that sticker looks better up close. Heatsink and fan(s) quality is more than good enough, although it does float a bit more than the sinks on my 3870s.Didn't think the upgrade from two xfire 3870s to this one almost-'6970' would be anywhere near a good as it turned out to be. The extra memory really helps with my native resolution (2560 by 1600). Glad I upgraded. Like the opening reviewer, I have an older Q6600, o/c to 3.4, and for me it's still not my bottleneck (4GB RAM is), so will probably keep using it for another year or two. No real need to o/c GPU and memory any higher, but I'm confident I'll get more than 900/1350 when I need to.Very pleased.

Cons:-Included crossfire bridge is not long enough

Pros:-Dual bios still present even with the aftermarket cooler and non-reference design-Amazing price-Runs very quiet
Comment:
Unbelievable bang for your buck, still has the dual bios switch so flashing to the 6970 BIOS is still possible and simple, and of course easy to recover from if you encounter a problem. Crossfire bridge isn't sufficient length for cards plugged in the 1st and 3rd pci-e slots.

Upgrade from a 5770, I'm pretty happy with the performance of this card, it runs cool and quiet, even when playing a game like Crysis 2 with max setting, the card fans aren't that loud. Like I said previously, I was able to unlock the card to a 6970, so it's a nice bonus :)

I love it when things look strong and sturdy. That being said, the fans on this card kind of look weak. However, the card performs wonderfully and will allow many games to be played on the highest resolution. I upgraded over the 5770 so of course I am amazed.

Put this into the following system:Q6600 s 3.0Ghz2x2gb ramWin 7 32bit1920x1080I didn't bother with the included driver and grabbed the latest ATi driver (11.7 I think). Simply uninstalled the old card (4870 512mb) installed the 6950 and ran the driver. No problems, ran my games fine. I was able to crank the settings up in all my games and still saw substantial increases in FPS. People always caution that the Q6600 will be a bottleneck but I have another year before I feel the need to fully upgrade the sytem. This card will allow me to play BF3 etc. without issue. My old card started to struggle when I upgraded to the 23" monitor, not so with the new card. I managed to get a good deal on the card which helps as well.
