Primochill Typhoon III Dual INLET/OUTLET 2X 5.25IN Bay Reservoir & MCP655 Pump Top
Cons:No instructionsWarranty is voided if you use pretty much anything other than distilled water in it.Will probably still break even then from the hairline fractures it comes with, or overtightening.Fittings are a pain to work with, you pretty much have to attach the hoses outside of your box to use them.Just about impossible to fill or drain since the fillports are on the front.
Pros:None, since it broke. |

Primochill Typhoon III Dual INLET/OUTLET 2X 5.25IN Bay Reservoir & MCP655 Pump Top
Cons:take 2 3.5 bay,Got to mod your case,PLASTIC fitting :(.
Pros:easy too fill/dry the reservoir,Nice design (personal),handle 2 loop. Comment:
I bought it for my first WC system, so I wanted wanted some easy customs kit, but i got a little bit disappointed.A think that I did not wanted too do is too mod my case (im using a Corsair 800D Obsidian btw). For a 75$ product they could have create some spot for those 3.5" pin ... And, yea dont use the ghost fitting included on the package, they look cheap. But still a good product overall. |

Primochill Typhoon III Dual INLET/OUTLET 2X 5.25IN Bay Reservoir & MCP655 Pump Top
Cons:Some cases(ex. haf 932) may require modification to allow it to fit flush in the drive bay, no instructions, not the easiest to bleed
Pros:Good Bulid Quality, Effectively doubles loop capacity, Looks pretty good Comment:
My biggest issue with this product was getting it to fit flush in my drive bay, which required the removal of the front tabs that are supposed to hold an optical drive in place. There are no instructions which is kinda lousy considering it's a $75 product. The ghost compression fittings aren't that easy to use but I didn't have any problems with leaking. Bleeding the loop required me to tip the computer onto it's back, in order for all the air to get untrapped and to fill the res completely.Overall the product does what it's advertised to do and would only require a few small things to make it nearly perfect. This thing is pretty much worthless. The performance is nowhere near as good as those fake reviews by "skinnee" imply -- the guy just posted the same review on 10 different forums online, it's a bad marketing attempt. NCIX won't RMA it, I assume because I passed the 30 days, although I only got around to installing it last week and it broke pretty much immediately. This is a common problem as far as I can tell. The company will try to blame whatever UV dye or other additives you've put into the water, even though other acrylic resevoirs don't have a problem with them. Anyways, unless they start selling this with a torque wrench and 2 litres of their approved fluid (you can't use just water like they suggest) I wouldn't suggest buying it.
