Very well machined. Easy install. Brought the temperature from 72C to 40C on 100% CPU usage while rendering with my i7 860 at stock clock speed. Can now run at 3.6G. Highly recommended!

Its a beast and it works Awesome
Comment:
It comes with everything you need to mount this monster, my temps at idel is 46-47c (and this temp is with OC from 2.66 to 3.2 intel Q9450) thats with an add on 120mm fan, you can use 2 fans on this thing if you like. i also like tha fact that it comes with the X back plate to help support the MB. just make sure you have room in your case for this thing, i have the gigabyte full tower, it should fit the mid tower as well. while running prime95 the heatsink was slightly warm to the touch. cant say great enough things about this esp if your into overclocking.

Prolimatech Megahalems Heatpipe Cooler LGA775 LGA1366 Heatsink *Fan Not Included
Cons:PriceOnly comes with 1 set of fan clipsDoes not come with LGA1156 clips (read review)

Pros:One of the best performing coolers on the marketAwesome retention systemLooks great in a case with a side panel window
Comment:
I bought this to use with my P55 system and to my dismay it didn't come with a LGA 1156 mounting kit in the box. And the extra LGA1156 bracket is not available for sale at NCIX or any other Canadian retailers. BUT, when I explained my situation to Prolimatech one of their support representatives promptly told me that a kit has been sent my way. VERY very satisfied with their customer service. The last two weaknesses I listed have been addressed with a REV. B edition of the Megahalems but that one isn't available for purchase in Canada either. Either way it's glad to know that Prolimatech as a company doesn't leave their early adopters in the dust.In terms of cooling efficiency, this thing is a MONSTER. I have a i5 750 clocked to 4.2GHz on 1.43V and the temperatures are well under 85 degrees. If you buy this thing for the performance, you will not be disappointed. It is simply the best air cooling money can buy at the moment.

Personally I am very satisfied with this product. It does what is supposed to do: cool my CPU and it cooling it really good. One quiet Panaflo fan is all that this heatsink need.Recommend to all air cooling enthusiasts. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-05-09 10:48 PM

Prolimatech Megahalems Heatpipe Cooler LGA775 LGA1366 Heatsink *Fan Not Included
Cons:Fan clips don't support 38mm deep 120mm fans

Pros:Excellent cooling performance, great mounting system, nice fan mounting system
Comment:
I purchased this on special last week for $49.99 from NCIX and I am very happy with this cooler. The performance with my OC'd i7 920 C0 at 3.8 ghz with 1.34 volts VCore has been nothing short of top-notch. Paired up with a Coolermaster 2000RPM R4-L2R-20AC fan it's both silent and deadly. Core temp at 100% CPU utilization never exceeded 80 celsius in a case with average cooling. This exceeded my CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus by about 5 degrees celsius, while the 212 Plus was running with dual fans. The mounting system was very easy to use and installation only took about 20 minutes, with half of that time occupied by motherboard removal. Additionally, the mounting system did not interfere with the caps or cooling on my Asus P6T Deluxe (V1).The base was smooth enough, and fairly reflective, guaranteeing a good "fit"/mate to the CPU heat spreader.I think the only caveat to using this cooler is the fact that because the fan clips connect to the "far" side of the fan, a 38mm fan could not be used properly, but the performance with a single fan was nothing short of exemplary. I actually was able to gerry-rig a 38mm Scythe Ultra Kaze 2000 RPM fan to this cooler by using the fan clips for the Hyper 212+ but due to noise I switched back to the CoolerMaster LED fan listed above.All-in-all a highly recommended product. I am very happy with the performance, look and quality. This review was modfied by poster @ 10-13-09 08:42 AM

Prolimatech Megahalems Heatpipe Cooler LGA775 LGA1366 Heatsink *Fan Not Included
Cons:No fan provided.Only one pair of clips.

Pros:Good lookingBest in business installation systemFantastic cooling
Comment:
This cooler is absolutely excellent for cooling i7 processors. My i7 920, overclocked at 4.0GHz with 1.27 VCore, when using prime or IBT, never breaks 65C (using with Noctua 120mm NF-P12 model). Playing games, I rarely touch 60C.The installation is also very easy and straightforward. Removing and reseating the Megahalems is a 10 minute job when you get used to it, compared to coolers like the V8 and V10 who require the motherboard to be fully removed. No washer trick is required like with the TRUE to unleash it's full cooling power.I just wish it came with 2 pairs of fan clips.

Prolimatech Megahalems Heatpipe Cooler LGA775 LGA1366 Heatsink *Fan Not Included
Cons:Expensive, no fans.

Pros:Very good cooling, good quality hardware, extra fan clips can be purchased.
Comment:
I bought this for my I7 as the Coolermaster 212+ was not cutting it. I used two high cfm fans (110cfm) and it worked very well but, as you can imagine, things got a little noisy. From what I have seen this is pretty much equal to the TRUE. The mounting system is of very good quality, the best I have seen. I have moved on to water cooling which cools by another 5C with much less noise.

Prolimatech Megahalems Heatpipe Cooler LGA775 LGA1366 Heatsink *Fan Not Included
Cons:Doesn't cool down as much as I'd hoped

Pros:Decent cooler.Pretty and shiny
Comment:
I've heard many good things about this cooler, and how it can actually compete against the TRUE cooler (Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme). Unfortunately, this cooler seems to lack in heat dispersion as I'm hovering at about 37C when I should be at around 30C. It still allows me to bring up the speed of my 955 to a decent level, but I was hoping for better cooling from this.
