Lousy Camera

I bought one of these cameras over the summer after some kids went on an egging tour through the neighborhood. The night vision was crystal clear for about the first 3 minutes then went real grainy. I kept the camera and should have sent it back, but instead I'm a tech and I tore it apart then put it back together. It works about as well as it did before. I decided to give the camera a second chance and ordered another one last week and straight out the box the night vision was worse than the 1st. I'm sending this one back. So far I'm not impressed with their tech support. They seem to like to disconnect you and they seemed a little too quick to say send it in. I will say the daytime vision is good quality but still too much money for this camera. |

product did not come with the power supply shown in the image and was not in the box as shown . instead it had that annoying plastic packaging we all love to get hurt on while opening it. I have some problems with my camera in total darkness on the left side it has vertical bars of light and dark that gradually fade it is annoying, Q-See will replace the camera. Overall for the price it’s a good camera and was easy to install |

Miss my Deer

Bought this camera to watch deer behind my house. Lasted about a two weeks then died, does not work at all. Picture was kind of grainy on my large screen tv. Night vision was ok, grainy also. Returning for replacement. Better luck with replacement I hope. |

great camera

This cam is a nice buy easy to install, has great video quality during the day and at night also. It has a nice hood that is adjustable. Would be even nicer if it had audio built in it too. |

Works as advertised. Image so sharp you could cut your finger on it! Image is an A in the daylight and a B in the dark. Plan on upgrading my other 3 cameras with this one! |

Worth the money

This camera does everything we need. Would have preferred a different lense to catch more side view but can't really complain. Night vision is excellent. We have a light on a motion sensor. Camera caught the neighbor kid jumping up and down in the street and stepping into the yard trying to trip the light. The light was turned off! It was very dark out yet the camera, approximately 60' away on the roof, showed his frustration with no problem. |

Not convinced

Not sure why all the good reviews, but I do not see any better with this camera, than with a 60 dollar one? I guess I would need to install a light fixture outside, to see clearly. At night, I can't even see my car 15 feet away that well. For day light viewing is fine, but night vision, gives several shades of black...I do see the spiders crawling on it.... |

Too bright in sun light

I connected this camera to the Q-See DVR I purchased along with it. The camera was so bright I had to go to the adjustments in the DVR and turn the brightness way down in order to see anything. I also found this to be an issue at night, the area lighting made things difficult to see. After the adjustments were made I am fairly happy with the camera, it has a wide viewing range that covers the entire driveway. The color could be better it is not quite as good as other cameras I have purchased. All in all I plan on purchasing two more because they fit my needs. |

I love it!!!! I put this camera next to my existing camera and the difference was astounding. Like night and day. I could see the TV programs in the house across the street. I am ordering another, as someone has treatened to burn me out. The camera is very clear at night. I can read the no parking sign across the street. I am amazed, and have ordered another one. It is far better than the two other cameras I had. I thought they were good, but this one is GREAT!!!!! |

Can't say enough so far about this camera. I've had one now for about 6 months or so and the picture quality is really good. I've recently ordered and set up a second one and intend to replace one other camera with this same model. The box it came in says night vision is only 80 ft while the advertised is 100 ft, I'm actually getting better than that. What really stands out to me though is the camera mount, absolutely hands down the best I've seen. |
I HAD THIS CAMERA FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS NOW . THE DAY WORKS GREAT HOLDS UP THROUGH SOUTHWEST FLORDIA RAIN STORMS. I HAVE IT UNDER ROOF A LITTLE BUT IT HAS HAD DIRT HITS OF RAINS AND NEVER FAILED. THE NIGHT VISION IS BAD IT IS VERY WHITE LIGHT. IF YOU NEED TO GET GOOD PICTURE QUAILITY AT NIGHT THIS ONE WONT BE THE CAMAERA.
