an outstanding case, Incredibly effortless access with each front and back doors open. simple effortless easy install on anything you want to put in. Green leds appear Great really really small cons genuinely, underpowered with only a 500watt ps, power button sticks, the 3rd fan in the non-windowed panal whould be there and all fans should be green led. absolutely nothing worth docking any eggs from this peice!!! is a bit heavy but thats since its STEEL. oh and also it gets a lil cramped when it comes to wiring. upgraded to a 650watt ps, added extra green led fans and couldnt appear greater. a couple of zipties to aid hold back cables and its all good to go.

The case is pretty solid and all the parts I had went in simply. The fold out sides are a nice touch and make it significantly a lot easier to modify the contents rather than having to unscrew a whole bunch of screws to take the panels off and then do it once more. As stated in the title, the PSU was DOA. I was hoping the other reviews stating this were just a fluke but, sadly, they were not. My assistance? Don't waste your time with this PSU. Go and devote the additional money on a great unit with a greater wattage. You'll thank me later. Oh, also, this exact same case in silver with the blue LED's is slightly cheaper and the specs are all the similar. Unless you've got a thing for green LED's in your case, save the added ŭ-บ and use it on a PSU that won't show up DOA.

Very heavy, solidly construct case. Minimal flex on panels, and it appears build to last. I'm very picky about that point. I returned an additional brand's case I bought this week mainly because the steel was too light gauge and flexy. The Raidmax Smilodon is robust and apparently difficult (with the exception of the bezel, see other thought)I like the way they beveled the plexi window.I know I list a lot of cons, but this is genuinely a decent case (mainly due to the solidity of its construct). THE POWER Provide WAS DOA - DEAD. This is apparently a prevalent issue with these Smilodon PSUs. I canceled my order for the Smildon with no PSU and free of charge shipping, thinking, "Hey, I'll spend ten bucks for shipping and get a new 500 W PSU!" NOPE - DOA PSU not worth RMAing for ten dollars.No front eSATA port. LAME. Front USB only 2.. Let's get with the times!I ended up screwing in my optical drives, but there's no location to screw in the HDD in the lower bay if you prefer to (and I wanted to).Front fans are a little loud. Fans don't seem to move a ton of air.Shipping box was a typical, thin, merchandise box, not a proper corrugated shipping box. It had a major gash in it. The case barely escaped serious harm (the plastic wrap was torn, but the case hadn't been hit). Luck only!No case security lock.Paint finish looks cheap and bumpy, like there was dust in the air although painting. The bezel is the weak spot of the case. It's plastic and I was constantly concerned that I'd harm it merely carrying the case from 1 desk to a different.The door style is unfortunate. I don't like getting to open it and leave it open just to plug in headphones or a thumb drive, or open an optical drive tray. The front USB / Audio is at the bottom of the case, so it actually desires to be up on a desk. Where do I start. It's the coolest looking case I've had with green LEDs in the fan and green highlights. Good sturdy case where both panels fold out on a hinge. No screws had been necessary to install my 3 SATA tough-drives and DVD-ROM. For the drives they have these metal rails that affix to the side of the drive and let you slide in. There is a plastic (although appears solid) lock for the DVD Rom. The four fans deliver a decent amount of airflow. The powersupply is pretty cheesy and only has two sata power connections. I had an added Antec power-provide so that was no major deal.

Fairly solid case, fold out motherboard tray is good. Green lights add a nice glow. Power provide. My energy provide smells like burning plastic correct now, I get nervous every single time I turn on my pc, I'm just waiting for it to explode. I've got a corsair 750tx on it's way appropriate now, hopefully this factor will make it to Tuesday.

The case is amazing I enjoy that the MB tray folds out. Lots of fans. The energy supply as stated in other critiques is garbage. I had the case for about 6 months not in use as I was slowly making my technique. Lastly got the CPU and HDD loving it and then two days later with minimal use power provide is dead. The only other factor is the location of the front USB and headphone jack are bad if you want your tower on the floor. Also if on the floor its kind of a discomfort to open the front door you have to type of tilt it up. Can't really complain over all got the case for ๛ so it doesn't actually matter that the energy provide sucked only that I have to wait a couple of days now for the new 1 to show up. It would be good if the led's had a switch to turn them on and off.

Lots of fans and fantastic airflow. Fans run pretty quiet.Lots of additional bays.Both sides fold down and motherboard tray comes out. Extremely handy and produced the develop simple. Wish front door opened to the left... preference.Cable management is a challenge.Wish it had a switch to turn the LEDs off on front of case... I may have to make something. I preserve this in my space and it is fairly bright at night, MAN THIS CASE MAKES YOUR Pc Appear LIKE A Real BEAST!!!

I like the layout, as properly as the hinged MOBO tray. Other than the cons below, I like the case and will keep it. NONE of the fans can be hooked up to your MOBO for monitoring, because they lack the suitable connectors. Just uncomplicated energy connectors to the PS only. Also, the OS didn't come with an 8 pin 12V connector which my MOBO wants.

The case looks fantastic from afar...Its absolutely nicely ventilated. The power provide that was provided for me was absolutely faulty. When it was time to turn on the personal computer to see the BIOs for the 1st time, nothing occurred. Did a fast voltage check and found my power supply was not giving me any power. ุ later with a coolmax PS, my method was operating smoothly. Even the faulty power supply was bad anyways. It came with two SATA power connectors, on the similar line.... If you are arranging on connecting a SATA dvd driver with a SATA HD, forget about it. The HD storage is all the way on the bottom, and CD's are on leading. It'll never reach. The clear plexi-glass was slightly cracked at each and every point exactly where a screw was attaching it to the side case. It wasscrewed on too tightly. Immediately after some engineering with the loose wiring for the front fan, it lastly started to spin. The paint job wasn't quite smooth. The top of the case has bubbles from uneven spraying. So... yeah... its a risk... If every little thing comes correctly and all these complications above are fixed then this could effortlessly be a five egg case. Nonetheless, when i'm paying practically 100 bucks, I dont want to have to spend additional dollars upgrading the energy supply and worrying about good quality assurance. OH, and i sent an email to RAIDMAX, no response however.

The latches on both sides are challenging to fasten and tell if they are fastened securely. The main door with the two sets of 80mm fans is a little bit of a discomfort to close with out having loose cables draped everywhere. Purchased this case as component of a construct for a budget gaming pc for a friend. In spite of the quirks, I have ordered an additional for a diverse person to use as a create. -The side pannel is amazing.-The side two fans are truly very good coolers.-I Love the foldout MB style, both sides are in a position to come down, makes it SO uncomplicated to add/replace parts.-Has space for an additional 80mm fan-Fits my 5770 video card nicely (has about 2 inches space at end)-Good air flow! The only thing that really bugs me, is the swinging door that covers the front of the tower. Yeah it looks fairly cool, but if you are continually employing your DVD drive or USB sticks or some thing, you wont be in a position to close it.Hopefully you dont slam it shut or accidently crush a USB stick on accident like i almost did. But overall this isnt a significant issue, it looks nice Extremely reccomended. Good case, small heavy but what do you anticipate?

Awsome looking, so quite a few cool functions. Good cost imo. Excellent airflow so far. -Doesn't sit on feet so the door drags on my carpet in contrast to my other two circumstances.-The front USB and audio ports are on the bottom front, so the door has to be open, not the greatest location but w/e.

I like the appear of the case,the side doors are very sturdy the handles in certain!, the bottom compartment is incredibly nice I don't loose the hdd rails that way.the tool-less drive bays work properly. the fold out mobo is nice if your iffy about wire management you'll get a headache with this case.....with the size of this mid tower you believe it would be simple but its definitely not(i prefer my cables out of web page..really challenging on this case) the front door can break very easily if hit from the right angle (under my desk my foot hit it) the front leds went dead not too long right after buy (i don't like leds anyway + for me) if you put a fan by the 3.5" on the back it'll whistle the case is heavy!!!i don't like the tooth on the side overall solid case but quirky on the inside for my taste if you only care about exterior aesthetics and the inside doesn't bother you considerably go for it

Case itself is great. A lot of attributes, tooles, superior air flow. Both the dirk tooth and second side mount fan puts air in ideal spot for me. Looks quite nice. All the pics make it appear like this factor really glows green when realy only one of the fans is green LED. Fixed speedy with some LED fans. Not a big deal..... PSU died on 3rd boot!!! I never ever expect much from a built in supply, but not a effective technique and killed it prior to I even got windows installed... Lucky for me, I bought this on sale so it was the same price as the unit with no PSU. Thought I was saving a little money and can get a superior supply later, turned into upset kid on Christmas, and operating out in a Blizzard Sunday morning to go buy a new PSU. Would definatly buy again, just dont count on the PSU. Rest of method:MSU mATX p41m-g334gb Kingston RamCore 2 Duo @ two.37 GHZCorsair 600w PSU-----------would have given this yet another egg if the PSU was at least usable. Not excellent, but does not fry. Also, very first case was broke in shipping.... Had to RMA, Newegg was excellent although, got a second 1 to me before Christmas!!!

Case is big and makes it possible for tons of room for expansion and air flow. Lots of fans with good circulation. Cost was ok. The Raidmax power supply that came with it crapped out 10 months following I got the pc up and running. Side door latches on the case now don't release very properly and you have to kind of yank on the side to get it off of there. They also don't snap into place really well now either so it's uncomplicated for the door to fall open unless you're particular it's latched. I know that receiving the case AND 500W energy supply was a good deal but not if I have to replace the power supply much less than a year following I start employing it.Newegg did wonderful producing and acquiring the order to me in mega-rapidly time - THEY get 5 eggs constantly for service. The low-grade energy supply and case latches get 3 eggs.

Program "looks" great easy to use...motherboard screws were premounted...case layout is superior. Power SUPPLY D.E.A.D. ; will have to invest more on a various energy supply...bought the case a couplamonthsago but am just assembling now...got everything connected and..."dud" NO Energy...I sent an urgent support request to the MFG...(it's Saturday) I will let you know if I get a response by Monday evening...wish I could have given it a ZERO! My suggestion, If you acquire this tower...make sure you get the EXTENDED insurance AND when the tower arrives...MAKE Sure YOU CHECK IT Instantly.

Besides searching cool, it has excellent features. Was satisfied with the cooling technique, including the adjustbale side cooling fan that allowed me exhaust my video card even more. Stand offs well positioned. quickly my favorite feature is the see via side panel, and the ease of which both side panels come down for access. Click lock slots are a breeze. This is my second case. 1st 1 was beat to pieces through shipping and the front door was cracked, so my bling with all that green glow was messed up. Second case was fixed, but I discovered how weak the power supply was. It's only a 20 + 4 pin, and my motherboard has an 8 pin slot. I bought the 12V molex to 8pin P8 adapter, and now my quad core doesn't get overloaded and shut my personal computer down just about every 2 hours for no reason

-looks pretty dang awesome-STURDY, feels like tank-effectively built, solid door, solid case-ideal factor of all, the motherboard tray opens and even comes out, Extremely beneficial, if only other instances could do this.-cooling is pretty great, not the greatest although-tool-much less style is the very best i've noticed or utilised, quite sturdy and simple to use. -no cable management (see other thoughts)-kind of cramped space, at least for me-dirk tooth video card support bar thingy is kind of useless, took it out for most of the time i've had it, put it back in recently just trigger i got tired of getting the same factor. If your a casual builder and not looking for something amazing, this is a fantastic case for you.I lastly got tired of the situations cramped space and lack of cable management. I just purchased an Antec 900 Two, mainly because of the looks,CABLE MANAGEMENT, and awesome cooling. Like i mentioned, the raidmax smilodon is a fantastic case, but if you are critical about building or getting a gaming machine, i suggest you get something with additional characteristics and alternatives. Case got old fairly quickly in my book, not a bad case though.

I got that 15 dollar rebate! All get in touch with with the rebate center for Raidmax went ignored and un-answered. Out of frustration, I contacted Newegg and requested their assistance with this difficulty and immediately after sending them copies of my documentation, Lo and Behold, a fifteen dollar check arrives from "Rebate Center" and it didn't bounce! Whenever I've had a difficulty with an order, shipment, price, WHATEVER, Newegg Constantly comes through. I can just picture them calling Raidmax and warning them that they would be "Out Of Enterprise" if they didn't send me that check today! Why they would be lucky to have a street corner where they could sell pencils if they didn't do proper by this customer! Yeah... Nicely... It could happen... Doesn't Matter! I'm a Happy Camper and that appears to be Crucial to NewEgg. Thanks to Vanna Ye for "Righting a Wrong" and restoring Balance to my simple Life!

The way that the case opens.Where the power supply is situated.Fans/Fan placment. Following wiring the the case it was a nightmare to reopen on the fan side. I had to strip and rewire the fans to hide them so that you would be able to open the case on both sides while not seeing the wires.
