Best keyboard I have had yet.
Comment:
I love this keyboard, macro functions are great for gaming or 3d modeling programs. Light up functions are great, and the coating on the keys makes it easy to clean up. |

Great!

This keyboard is awesome. It looks great at night, they keys feel really good, the backlight options are nice, and the keypresses feel like laptop keys. The touchbuttons for the media controls are a nice addition as well, and there's an option to deactivate the Windows key. |

Good but has flaws
Comment:
This is a very sleek keyboard looks cool but half the time i have to replug it in cause the media buttons flip out. It seams that i have 4 keys that tend to stick at the same time. Everytime the keys are diffrent. |

Decent

Good keyboard at the end of it all. First started out with quite a few problems. When playing a game requiring W A S D and hot key usage like control 1-9, keys tend to stop working. After some macro working, the problems ceased to exist. Just make sure if or when you purchase this keyboard, you read and understand all of its features. |

RAZER Lycosa Black Wired Standard Gaming Keyboard
Cons:I have not found any.
Pros:Keys have almost no resistance or impact when pressed at all.Not that easy to accidentally push the Windows key.Holds up well under almost constant use. Comment:
I got this over a year ago and it's been perfect ever since. I've used it and a Logitech G15 regularly over the year and the Lycosa is the hands down winner. |

The keyboard is pretty much what I expected. The finish smudges up very quickly so get used to it. I saved the shipping charges by ordering a product I may never use (External USB floppy drive) but at least I received something for the money that would've otherwise gone down the drain. One other note is during game play I must have hit a hotkey which kept popping up Windows Media player & resolved it by associating with Real Player which I don't have installed. I didn't look too hard into the why as I was trying to get back to my game. All in all I'm satisfied with the feel & look. |

Thinking of Returning It
Comment:
Got this keyboard a few weeks ago. First off I paid way too much in shipping (15 dollars) and It got here at the same time I ordered some things from (another major online computer part retailer, you know the one) The spacebar rattles, the s key registers when i rest my finger on it. the keys are loud, too many issues with it. Though the backlight does look nice, i would forget about the bascklight and look into something else. Im going to return mine |

RAZER Lycosa Black Wired Standard Gaming Keyboard
Cons:Little issues at start
Pros:Looks BadassFeels NiceWorks Great Comment:
Bought this to replace logitech keyboardS... after buying several expensive logitech keyboards and having nothing but problems with them... including a DiNovo which ended up being a peice of garbage and working half of the time, now used as a htpc keyboard thats works for about 3 minutes(click really fast).. I bought this razer keyboard after trying a razer mouse and having a good experience with it, its acted goofy at the start(letter g was unresponzive) which wasnt an issue until i wanted to google somthing...(oole.ca not a very useful site) but seemed to resolve itself after half an hour...Love this keyboard, will buy another razer again |

Got this for Christmas and installed beautifully on XP, I installed Windows 7 and still worked without a hitches. A month after i got it my ''W'' key stop working, unplugging the keyboard seems to fix that problem. No other Problems with this board. |

DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED
Comment:
This keyboard is great, but whenever I first got mine I plugged it in & started using it without even seeing the disk.. because of this I almost gave this Awesome product a horrible review, this product requires the driver updates from Razerzone.. If you don't download the drivers sometimes the keys you hit will not input at all.. Here is a quick list of what you must do to have this keyboard working 100% Step 1: Download & Install Latest Driver Update. Step 2: Turn off your computer. Step 3: Plug-in the Lycosa Keyboard. Step 4: Turn on your computer & wait for the keyboard to recognize the installed drivers Step5: Enjoy your new Keyboard.. It's pretty simple, but this is the first time that I've had a keyboard that needed drivers installed.. |

I love this keyboard, it looks great next to my razer diamondback mouse and the low profile keys are so much nicer to type on than the old style |

Very good keyboard
Comment:
I got this keyboard about a week ago, and I'm happy about my purchase. The keyboard works great, and the lighting options are cool. The touch media controls are also a nice touch, however, once you install the driver for the keyboard it only allows you to control certain media players. All in all, if you are a fan of razer, or just want a good keyboard, I'd recommend this one. |

RAZER Lycosa Black Wired Standard Gaming Keyboard
Cons:- Random keys stop working- Laptop like feel keys(weakness for me)- Overpriced for what it does
Pros:Lights up in the dark Comment:
I got a defective model and keys would stop working within 20 minutes of boot up and it would require a reboot for them to work again, this started happening about 3-4 weeks in from purchasing the product from NCIX, after reading online about these keyboards Razer released a bunch of defective keyboards, funny thing is if you get one YOU have to pay shipping which is about $25 in my case to get it replaced, completely unsatisfactory to do this and I will never buy from Razer again, even their customer support is pretty lame.. you just get scripted responses even if it doesn't make sense to the questions you ask.Razer sucks, period. |

Another Amazing Razer Product... LOVE IT
Comment:
This keyboard is extremely responsive. So much so that when I replaced my Logitech G15 with the Lycosa, it took me a few minutes to adjust. The keys are sensitive to the touch, but not so much so that you'll accidentally type characters you didn't intend. Of course, the blue backlit keys are useful and, frankly, amazingly cool. I've grown to love Razer... EVERYTHING I've purchased that's a Razer has been amazing. And this keyboard is no exception. |

A good produce to add to my Razer collection. Matches my DeathAdder. Backlit keys glow soft and are easy to see in the dark. Quiet keys but a solid feel. |

Had a random key not work two times now! Had to unplug it, & plug it back in to get it to work again!! The second time it did that, I had the latest driver installed for it!! Probably would've gave it fives if it hadn't of done that! |

I LOVE THIS KEYBOARD!
Comment:
As per the post of another writer you can make any key on this kewyboard into a macro key, you just need the software for windows, since i use linux, i dont need or use that option what sold it for me was the blue back lighting and the touch screen which btw worked perfectly out of the box even on linux, i also got mine for 80 bucks, i love this keyboard, i was also able since i went to tiger direct in my city, to pick up the board in person i bought the Mirror Special Edition, which is a damn sexy keyboard, everything works fine. I recommend this to anyone regardless of OS or if you play games, its just a nice keyboard, very nice. |

RAZER Lycosa Black Wired Standard Gaming Keyboard
Cons:Price.Feels kind of cheap.
Pros:Backlit keys.Rubber caps.Nice feel.Wrist rest.Programmable keys.Touchpad.USB port.Microphone and headphone jacks. Comment:
I absolutely love this keyboard. It has a nice feel to it when you type on it and the lighting can be adjusted (3 settings: ON, Off, WASD ON). The touchpad is quite awesome too for multimedia. |
Razer has been producing this keyboard long enough so there shouldn't be any issuesBut i bought mine in December 2009 and it has the random key loss issue.Very annoying!I will never buy a Razer keyboard again.Their mice are great though. Will be replacing this with a Logitech G110.I don't think i'll even bother RMA'ing this too much of a hassle.
