RJ45 10FT Cable CAT6
Cons:
connector plastic clip is unprotected
Pros: Gigabit (in theory!) Comment:
Good cable so far, just not sure if the connector plastic clip will last long unprotected. I didn't benchmark the transfer speed though. I would have preferred black color but for the price after price match it's fine! (4.42$) |

RJ45 10FT Cable CAT6
Cons:
none
Pros: Performs like it should. Comment:
Not much to say about a cable.. does what it's supposed to do and it does it well. I won't even consider going back to a CAT5e anymore but it's been like this for a while. Good cable! |

RJ45 10FT Cable CAT6
Cons:
Poor connectors
Pros: Cheap, low cost, efficient, simple, easy, standard Comment:
These cables are amazing for fixed use (i.e.: desktop computer, home router, home switch, etc.) However, due to the poor connectors, it shouldn't be used if unplugged and plugged often. If you intend to do that, you'd better buy some better quality connectors. |

RJ45 10FT Cable CAT6
Cons:
None so far
Pros: Cat6WorksSolid Construction Comment:
Moving everyhing to gigabit. Got some nGear cables on sale and they are working well. Sturdy construction. I'll buy nGear again, especially if they go on sale. Running with no problems for 2 months with this cable and I don't expect any issues. |

RJ45 10FT Cable CAT6
Cons:None so far.
Pros:Works well for gigabit.Good price when on sale or price matched. Comment:
I got these cables when I upgraded my old 5 port switch to a new 8 port gigabit switch. Everything works well and file transfer is fast. The cables I got were blue and thankfully do not have a boot over the connector so they are easy to connect and disconnect. |

RJ45 10FT Cable CAT6
Cons:Need different colors
Pros:Great network cable Comment:
Nice housing, connectors look solid, the feel of the cable is great. The only knock is that the cable should be available in different colors. If you have a bunch of these connected together, it's hard to tell which goes where without following the cable |

RJ45 10FT Cable CAT6
Cons:Hard as heck to get out of a jack
Pros:Cat 6 speed Comment:
The cable works well for what it was designed for. I have had this cable plugged into all my computers (4) and my switch. It has caused me much grief with trying to get it out of the jacks. I last unplugged it out of my MacBook Pro, which resulted in me holding the cable with both hands, one hand holding the tab down, bracing the laptop on the other side of my feet, legs stretched out and than a good hard tug. The cable now sits. |

RJ45 10FT Cable CAT6
Cons:only colour is grey
Pros:good for gigabit LANaffordable Comment:
Had all Cables2Go Cat6 cables in my gigabit LAN, but needed another, so added this to an order I had put together. At first I was a little worried, because my network connection with the cable was coming up as 100MB. Thought I'd have to go out and buy the Cables2Go anyway. But, after a few hours and a couple of restarts, the NIC was detecting the 1.0GB connection. Not sure what the delay was all about.Quality seems fine - no better/worse than the Cables2Go Cat6 cables I have worked with.I like using different colour cables as an easy way to identify which machines are plugged into which ports. It's not a big deal at all, just something I like doing instead of marking cables with numbers, letters or other boring indicators. Colour is so much cooler! So, point is, would be nice if this cable was available in a variety of colours. |

RJ45 10FT Cable CAT6
Cons:Difficult to disconnect
Pros:Sturdy, fast Comment:
Bought this for transferring large files between computers over gigabit. Works great for that, but disconnecting the jacks is hard on the fingers. The release tab doesn't seem to help much. If I wasn't disconnecting the cord very often, it probably wouldn't be a problem, but for a laptop it kinda is. This review was modfied by poster @ 09-28-07 06:33 PM |

RJ45 10FT Cable CAT6
Cons:None so far
Pros:Works well for gigabit, cable is built well enough Comment:
I bought these CAT6 cables when I moved to gigabit. They have been working pretty good. The cables also don't feel cheap, so they should last a while. |
This is a fantastic cable but is more expensive than needs be. One can find cheaper cables here at NCIX that perform identically. Good cable. More expensive than needs to be. Keep looking
