Raijintek Nemesis Black CPU Cooler LGA 775/1150/1155/1156/1366/2011/ FM2+/FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2
Cons:Rather large, but still fits in my midsize case (Barely) Couldn't mount it with large heat sink RAM.
Pros:Nice looking, cools the cpu quite nicely Comment:
It is doing a great job off keeping my AMD Phenom II X4 955 much cooler compared to my previous heat sink (Thermaltake R2, pretty old and barely better than stock). Some stats for comparison:Thermaltake: IDLE: 57c LOAD: 73c+ (It wasn't fully stable under max load and would reboot at the 3.8Ghz overclock I was using)Tisis: IDLE: 35c LOAD: 51c (totally stable m 3.96Ghz)Overall: very happy when purchased on sale. |
cheapest dual tower cooler aroundperforms within a few degrees of phanteks/noctua while being much cheaper! 140mm fans quiet if controlled properlyhowever, the fixation mechanism is such that installing the middle fan while the cooler is seated is almost impossible, unless you have super long flexible fairy fingers
