Raijintek Zelos Low Profile CPU Cooler LGA 1150/1155/1156/FM2+/FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2
Cons:- Very uneven surface makes it hard for the CPU to make contact with the cooler (put a tiny bit more thermal paste than usual.)
Pros:- Extremely easy to install. - Inaudible at most times. - Price/performance ratio is off the chart.- Pretty much compatible with most cases + situations. No ram incompatibility. |
Overall, this is my new go-to the low profile cpu cooler now. It's extremely quiet and has one of the easiest mounts (which i didn't expect at all). This cooler is not far from Noctua NH-L9i or Silverstone AR5 from the performance point of view. I'll be looking forward from future Raijintek products. The only catch is that there are grooves between the copper heat pipe and the cpu contact surface that eats up thermal paste. It's hard to clean, and when I took the cooler out, I found out that the paste barely covered half the cpu. The temps wer around 40~50 for stock G3258, but once I reapply the paste evenly, I would expect lower temp.
