Rapoo 3200 Blue Navigation 1000DPI 2.4G Wireless Mouse W/ USB Nano Receiver Blue
Cons:
Inaccurate movement during sudden/fast movement, no side scroll, unable to program side buttons, CPI button no indicator
Pros: Comfortable, light weighted, work on rough/reflective surfaces, good signal between mouse and receiver, 6 functional buttons |
First, this mouse feels comfortable to touch, and the size of this mouse is on the small side, just a little bigger than a notebook mouse. It uses one AA battery, which is included within the box. Weight with battery is still very light. There is no CD included, and the mouse can be detected automatically by WinXP and Win7.Second, this is not the best mouse for FPS gaming. During sudden/fast hand movement, there is chance the pointer on screen could end up moving towards a random direction. I tried it on a SteelSeries black cloth mouse pad, on wooden surface table, on reflective surface table, it just happens... However, it works fine for daily tasking and other type of games, and it works with rough / reflective surfaces which might be considered tough for other mice.Third, the black CPI button is located at "6 o'clock" of the left mouse button, and "12 o'clock" of that silver RAPOO logo. The button can switch the mouse's speed between two settings, but no indicator of any kind to show which setting is present. It's not easy to hit that button, so it shouldn't interfer much.Fourth, the mouse wheel is a little small and located a bit backward. It is awkard to move my finger from the left button to the wheel. There is no side scroll function for this wheel...Fifth, two side buttons act as "Forward" and "Backward". Their functions cannot be programmed since there is no software / driver for this mouse. I also checked the Rapoo website, nothing for download. As for battery life, I cannot comment on that yet. One month passed, it's still working.I bought this mouse for someone who only browses websites on her computer, and she is very happy with a comfortable, light weighted, and blue colour wireless mouse, and the small size fits her hand.I would go with a Logitech mouse at the price range of $30, but when this mouse is on sale at close to $20, I'd say it's worth it.
