Rapoo H8000 2.4G Wireless Headset With Microphone Rechargeable LI-ION Up to 10M - Black
Cons:Each time I plug it into my brand new Macbook Pro I lose connectivity to my b/g wireless router. I've tried to change channels on the router. No matter what channel it jams the wireless signal.
Pros:The idea of this product was exactly what I'm looking for. It fits nice. Reasonably comfortable. Comment:
Works ok when I'm on a wireless N router. Mic pics up a lot of ambient noise. I can't walk around while wearing it on a call. |

Rapoo H8000 2.4G Wireless Headset With Microphone Rechargeable LI-ION Up to 10M - Black
Cons:
-I don't seem to be able to adjust the volume when not primary audio device
Pros: -Price- when I bought this, it was $25-Mac compatibility-Just works Comment:
I didn't have huge hopes for this headset given its low price and unknown brand. But, it has proven to be exactly what I needed; a headset for Skype. Battery life seems to be solid - I've probably used it for approaching 5 hours of active use and it has not required a charge. Audio quality is good, certainly good enough for Skype. Build quality is surprisingly good. They are comfortable for longer calls.Mac support is fine, it's recognized immediately. The only complaint I have is this: when using the headset only with Skype, not as the primary audio output for OSX, you can't adjust the volume. The volume control on the headset controls the main volume, which doesn't affect the headset when not the primary audio output. Fortunately the default volumes seem to fine. |
Purchased to use mainly as a wireless headphone for my computer (microphone not used). The connection between the usb dongle and headphone was automatic and easy.My only complaint is that the headphones were not very comfortable to use. After 35 mins my ears were a little sore.
