Razer Boomslang CE Limited Edition Individually Numbered 1800DPI Gaming Mouse Infrared Optical USB
Cons:Side buttons
Pros:Looks good, does not skip at all! Comment:
it's quite easy to accidentally press the side buttons at first. It takes a while to get comfortable with its shape. The different profiles for mouse setting is very useful if you play a lot of different games. ie. profile 1 for shooting games and profile 2 for rts games, etc |

Razer Boomslang CE Limited Edition Individually Numbered 1800DPI Gaming Mouse Infrared Optical USB
Cons:Ergonomics seem dated, caused hand cramps
Pros:High degree of accuracy Comment:
Being used to ergonomic mice with a high back that support your palm, I found this to be an extremely uncomfortable mouse. (See the Logitech MX Revolution for an example). Although the accuracy is excellent I think the ergonomics of this mouse are dated (or at least not suited to everyone's tastes). I returned this mouse. |

Razer Boomslang CE Limited Edition Individually Numbered 1800DPI Gaming Mouse Infrared Optical USB
Cons:Takes a least one week to get used to
Pros:Amazing sensitivityVery comfortableGood button placementGreat packaging Comment:
Amazing mouse, feels awkward at first but after using it for a week it becomes incredibly easy to use and feels more comfortable than any other mouse I've used. While the price is rather high, if you have the money and are looking for a new comfortable gaming mouse I'd definitely recommend this. |

Razer Boomslang CE Limited Edition Individually Numbered 1800DPI Gaming Mouse Infrared Optical USB
Cons:sensitivity may take some adjustment
Pros:slimline designspare teflon footpadswide mouse buttons Comment:
I would recommend this mouse to anyone who wants to have the ultimate precision pointing device. The boomslang 2007 is a perfect replica in style of all previous boomslang models. The inclusion of the 3g sensor makes this a wonderful compliment to the Razer product line.I am #247 in the collectors edition series, thanks to my loving wife. I got used to the boomslang 2000 when counterstrike emerged in the marketplace, and once I adapted to its sensitivity, I became unstoppable. When the 2000 model met its fate during an inter-provincial move, I left the world of PC gaming. Now, with the reintroduction of one of the most innovative ambidextrous designs on the market, it's as though I've been reborn to the world of PC gaming. While the boomslang was not actually purchased at NCIX, I am writing this review with a special thanks to the good team at NCIX for supplying the parts for my most recent system (lian-li;qx9650;9800gx2;vista64).The vista 64 bit driver installs and works flawlessly. The on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment gives an average player the edge to become great. |

Razer Boomslang CE Limited Edition Individually Numbered 1800DPI Gaming Mouse Infrared Optical USB
Cons:Large size - takes some getting used to.
Pros:solid design5 buttonbeautiful responseajustable sensitivity Comment:
I bought this to replace a original Razor optical mouse ( Viper i think?)and a friend bought one.It takes some getting used to, especially the 2 side buttons. One accidental twitch while web browsing and back you go!once you get used to the hand possition, this mouse is great! the metal contruction should make it a litle heavy, but its nice and light. getting it out of the TIN was a pain , the circular plastic sub "cover" doesn't come out to easaly, you have to remove the CD's and documentation first, then really pull on the sucker. I am happy with my #943awww yea. |

Razer Boomslang CE Limited Edition Individually Numbered 1800DPI Gaming Mouse Infrared Optical USB
Cons:-Side buttons are still easy to press accidentally even though I'm used to them.
Pros:-Wide, rubberized buttons-Good quality workmanship-Too many features to list here Comment:
Being even more than your average Razer mouse, this one is the nicest mouse I've ever used or seen. I bought one from Razer and one from NCIX. Both operate flawlessly. The on-the-fly sensitivity is very handy. It comes in a rather ornate aluminum case, which is inside a high-quality gift box, which in turn sits in a brushed aluminum stand. The quality of the packaging aptly reflects the quality of the mouse itself. |

Razer Boomslang CE Limited Edition Individually Numbered 1800DPI Gaming Mouse Infrared Optical USB
Cons:Slight learning curve to adapt to it's form & use but it's such a small detail that works itself out within a short amount of typical usage. Hardly a weakness really.
Pros:Great Response. Easy to use & install. Lighting on the mouse was a nice touch. Glides easy even though it is not cordless, hardly notice. Comment:
Used to be just another typical Logitech user but after using this, I have been reformed. Not a single glitch, snag or hiccup yet. Runs smooth as glass with very quick response times. Besides fantastic performance, this mouse is a looker. The lighting is not obnoxious but subtle enough to say, "Hey how YOU doin'". Bottom line, good buy if you have the spare change. |

Razer Boomslang CE Limited Edition Individually Numbered 1800DPI Gaming Mouse Infrared Optical USB
Cons:Slight mouse deactivation when switching profiles.DPI only 1800 unlike the Lachesis
Pros:Very good trackingGood software and supportFits nicely in my handNice collectors boxLove the green glow- and no pulsing also able to turn the glows off. Comment:
I needed a mouse to replace my logitech mx510. Boy was that a good decision. Also bought this off the weekly sale. It took a lil while to get used to this mouse. I wasn't sure how to hold it but now I know and it's super comfortable. I would buy another one just cuz it's a collectors and wouldn't open the new one. Did I mention I love the green glow? :D |

Razer Boomslang CE Limited Edition Individually Numbered 1800DPI Gaming Mouse Infrared Optical USB
Cons:When you change the frequency, it freezes for like 30 seconds
Pros:Extremely accurateGood softwareGood grip, altho it's specialComes in a great box Comment:
I had to get used to it, but now that I am, it helps a LOT in shooters and everything. The mouse stops functionning for a little while when you change the frequency from 125 to 1000hz, but that's no big deal; it's pretty much a one time thing. The mouse's shape is special, you won't like it if you have small hands or if you don't place your hand correctly on it. |

Razer Boomslang CE Limited Edition Individually Numbered 1800DPI Gaming Mouse Infrared Optical USB
Cons:PriceAcclimation period
Pros:great materials (metal on a mouse?!)good sensor tracks well on anything, unlike laser.PERFECT shape Comment:
This is the single best gaming mouse ever made. Tracks well, and the shape allows for excellent control. It fits just about perfectly in my hand, which is not something I can say for many mice out there.Very attractively built. The hand rests on a thin stamped plate of aluminum with a crinkle type finish. Mouse buttons are non-slip rubber, very soft.Mouse is lit for aesthetics.Scroll wheel had nice solid click detents.Precision is excellent, and handling is excellent.I have bought three Boomslang CEs because I had not used a good mouse since my original Boomslang 1000 died.... so 3 should be good for at least 10 years.Absolutely worth the price premium.I had a 3-4 day acclimation period, just like the original boomslang. Keep using ity and you'll find a comfortable hold. Once that happens you'll never wanna let go. |

Razer Boomslang CE Limited Edition Individually Numbered 1800DPI Gaming Mouse Infrared Optical USB
Cons:side buttons take getting used too tend to click them if your used to squeezing mice.
Pros:High precisionGood QualitySmoothLooks bad ass.if you liked the original you will love this Comment:
very good mouse.good softwarewould buy this again but seeing they are LEdition i probably will never get that chance. loved my old Boomslang. love this as well Awesome dpi scale not to fast not to slow. |
I tried this mouse out and it works like a charm! The only issue I have with it is that if you are used to the ergonimic mice that are out in the market now, then you'll find that the heel on this is a little too low for comfort.
