Razer Goliathus 2014 Large CONTROL Soft Gaming Mouse Mat

This mouse pad is extremely textured compared to its older version.Personally, I like the older surface better and I never had tracking issues with it, so I have to question the need for adding this much texture to the pad.This new texture does add some resistance compared to the older version, so I am wondering if my mouse feet or this surface will wear out faster than the older version.
