nice mouse, bad charging options
Comment:
very nice mouse. great for online gaming. Biggest downfall is charging. Since the charger slash reciever is connected to the pc, the only way to charge is by leaving your pc on while not using it. you can also charge with cord attached if you are within 3 feet, but that pretty much makes getting the wireless mouse pointless. I play 5 feet back on LCD, so do not have the option |

Great mouse but not worth the money
Comment:
I've had this mouse for a month now and as far a i really like it cause of sweet response time sleek design.(no difference from wired mouses)Plus this is best mouse i ever had when it comes to ergonomics it lies in your hand like it was designed specially for your hand. BUT and now comes the bad stuff: ! major driver issues (at least on Vista64) mouse gets |

Good Mouse when it worked
Comment:
I had this mouse for 11 days and the laser decided to die on me. While it worked, it was very responsive, felt great and had the option to be wireless or corded. Things happen, hard drives die and mouse lasers go. The 2 side buttons are comfortable to press, unlike my other gaming mice. The other 2 extra buttons located next to the left mouse button are more than difficult to push. They should really only be set to buttons you're not going to use all the time, like sensitivity. With my use, every time I would go to hit one of the two, I would click the left mouse button (Giving my position away while playing Call of Duty cause I just fired my gun, lol) Overall it's a nice mouse with a hefty price. I would recommend the Death Adder instead, which is cheaper and basically the same thing minus the 2 additional buttons and the DPI only being 3500 rather than 5600. |

Great mouse!!
Comment:
i wanted the logitech g9x for Christmas but when i received this instead my dad sad that it was a better mouse. I was a little worried about it at first because it was wireless but i soon realized that this is probably the best mouse i have ever used! In short the wireless mouse is as fast if not FASTER then a wired mouse. and feels great in your hand. |

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons:battery, software, support
Pros:tracking and performance Comment:
Tracking and precision - great.Software - not so much. I have been dealing with razer support for over three weeks now. My mamba doesn't remember my acceleration settings and no matter what, the acceleration gets disabled in my favorite game UT3. I even got used to it by now, but still... I am using XP sp2, so razer tells me to upgrade to sp3. Well guess what. People have a lot of issues in Windows 7 as well. Razer, it's a MOUSE for F sake, it should WORK right away! It's NOT a $50 000 printer that needs a professional maintenance. And what I really don't like is their on mouse memory. The idea might be ok, but the way razer deals with it is horrible. It takes forever to change anything because you have to "upload" every change to the mouse and that takes up to 30 seconds. maybe 15 with the new software. 15 seconds for EVERY change is too much if you ask me. I even given up on creating macros and all the other stuff because of it. Too annoying. Battery life? I have never owned a mouse with such a short battery life. 8 hours sounds about right for a new battery. When I am playing I have to plug the cord in so it doesn't stop working in the middle of the fight. So I have a corded mouse for $150. Great. I wanted to return the mouse but off course Razer doesn't take it. If I had to choose again, I'd buy a LOT CHEAPER corded mouse. tried to give it two stars but it doesn't let me because I don't remember my order ID. |

Driver problems on win7
Comment:
This mouse feels great, but has latency and lag problems on win7 64. It runs fine on XP. If you're win7, I'd wait for them to sort out the driver problems. |

I was a little worried about paying $130 for a mouse, but once I got it I knew I had made a wise decision, I love everything about this mouse it is very fast. I had to turn down my sensitivity to surf. The lights are nice, very easy to use, and fits comfortably. |

Best Wireless Gaming Mouse
Comment:
Mouse is amazing. Upgraded my 30 dollar wireless keyboard and mouse logitech combo pack to this razer mamba and the Logitech G19 keyboard. The razer mamba is very accurate I use it on a lot of games like Crysis and unreal tournament. At first I didn't know about spending around 100 dollars on a mouse but I am glad I did. I also Like the fact that it is a hybrid you can use wireless or wired mode so you can play and charge. Also the case the mamba comes in looks like it came right out of an art museum. |

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons:PricePackagingFirmware updating
Pros:WirelessImpressive SpecsExcellent PerformanceComfortable Comment:
Obviously the price makes it mostly a luxury item to have. However it is the only good wireless gaming mouse out at the moment. The shape is excellent, similar to the Deathadder. The greatest feature is that ability to charge the mouse in wired mode if needed, this means you will never have a problem with your mouse dying on you while in use. The only real trouble I had was getting the mouse update d to the latest firmware, took a ridiculous amount of attempts to get it to recognize the mouse and update it successfully. |

Just buy it
Comment:
fantastic mouse. I use mine for professional photo editing and I also play online games. The mouse is by far the most accurate, precise and fasted mouse I have ever seen and or tried. At first I was a little skeptical about a wireless for gaming but my concerns were quickly erased. I have not had any issues with battery life. It does need to be recharged every day. However it lasts me all day working and then about 4 hours of gamming with no issues. I have never had to go wired with it. The mouse is very comfortable and the more I use it and the more I like it. Does work better with cloth pads then the hard surface types. . All and all I am extremely pleased |

Most epic mouse ever.
Comment:
I've tried countless amounts of mice. MX revolution, razer diamond back, razer lachesis, logitech G7, and countless other. This one blows them out of the water by a mile. Extremely comfortable, reacts extremely well, and the way it charges on the stand is extremely epic. I would recommend this mouse to any gamer, but if you're an extreme gamer... then its a MUST HAVE! |

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons:the only problems i have with this mouse is sometimes the synapse has to catch up after it goes into sleep mode and sometimes takes longer then normal, same when opening the software the synapse has to read so the mouse goes dead for a bit, the other thin is that when you install the software and you use the quick change sensitivity buttons you only have 5 options for different dpi's and you have to set the 5 in the software
Pros:wireless or wired, rechargeable battery's with docking station, Comment:
mouse was alright sept for the little synapse thin with the software loading up the mouse becomes non responsive for a bit and same when comin out of sleep mode but all in all it fits the hand and i moved from a g5 which i loved and still do but the wire was in the way so this is the next best thin without a wire but a bit pricey. |

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons:For the price a mouse pad would be nice. Packaging is overkill.
Pros:One of, if not the best mouse available. Noticeably smooth and precise, shaped for righty's. Wired or wireless capability work well. Comment:
Only had it for an hour or so but without a doubt the best mouse I have owned. Great tactile feel, buttons feel right, great scrolling wheel. Works well even without the razer software. Haven't experienced any intermittent connectivity when in wireless mode. |

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons:Very light, high(est) sensitivity, feels great in handThis is a great example of anything has 2 sides. It is light, but it's just too light for me. Maybe its just me used to heavier mice. After a few days I had it I played FPS for the first time but I totally lost control and I wasnt even using high dpi. This is probably subjective so if you like your mouse to be lighter than air this is great for you. BTW I'm also having major driver problem. Every time I change the setting or change from wire or wireless the mouse wont connect. I had to restart my computer everytime.
Pros:Very light, high(est) sensitivity, feels great in hand Comment:
Great mouse overall if it had worked better. Given my bad experience which has probably little or nothing to do with the product itself I wanted to give this a 4-5 star but then considering the price this is just not fair. |

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons:High res, flakey software, wireless is intermittent.
Pros:High res, works corded or cordless. Comment:
Yes, I put "high res" as both a strength & a weakness, and that's because having a very high res at your disposal is an excellent thing for quick turns in games, and navigating a large screen, but this particular rodent's highest resolution could be described as so high it's virtually useless.Being able to use this mouse as either corded or cordless is an excellent option, but unfortunately, so far, it seems that the movement in cordless mode is sometimes a little twitchy.... not sure whether it's some interference, the mouse itself, or the mouse and docking station not properly talking to each other. Fortunately, for me at least, I use my rodent in corded mode. From what I've read, it seems that Razer has some work to do, because I've already RMA'd one of these, as have other people, and it seems that their software plays some part in many of the non-working, or partially working mice. Not quite sure how to rate this mouse, since it is a nice mouse, especially if you like the Razer rodent shape & feel, but there seems to be some issues that need to be ironed out before this gets a big thumbs-up. |

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600DPI 7 Button USB
Cons:This mouse worked reasonably well for the first week. The past 2 weeks on the other hand have been horrific. Razer support had been very unhelpful; I beleive because they were not prepared for the issues. The level one tech I spoke to ran out of suggestions very quickly, promised level 2 support to follow in e-mail, and level 2 never show up on the scene. The basic issue is that the mouse itself "locks up" intermitently, which renders it a brick in both wired and wireless modes. It cycles through some form of "reset"/POST where it flashes the LED's, tries to power/boot up, then resets and starts all over again. Each time it did this, I could flash the firmware again, and it recovered for a day or 2 before it suicides again. Lately however... the firmware trick is working less and less.As I fear it will never come back very shortly, I have decided to request an RMA. I have tried all firmwares online... 1.03, 1.06, and 1.07.IMHO... This mouse is a white elephant that never should have made it past QA/testing.
Pros:The Wired/Wireless modes were a very attractive option... but since the battery was rated at 14 hours, I looked forward to never running wired ever! Comment:
Seems to work for others, but did not for me. Too expensive a product for me to want to gamble on another. |

Pimp mouse
Comment:
This mouse looks amazing. It's very acurate. I game alot and it works great. The only negitive thing I can possibly say is: Where's the scroll wheel right and left click RAZER?!?! You took two buttons away for alot more money doesn't make sense. Definately a posh mouse. 4.0 stars for taking my buttons away. |
The rubber side grips fell off after less than a year's use, and the cord used for charging the mouse became corrupted, causing the cursor to drift all over the screen when plugged in. Eventually this mouse went kaput. Overpriced for the cheap materials used, should have saved the money Razer spent on packaging for higher quality materials for the mouse.
