Roccat Kulo ROC-14-702 Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset W/ External 7.1 USB Sound Card
Cons:software drivers are a little wonky, sometimes doesn't load.Cant really tell the difference between 7.1 and 2.1 when playing a game like Black Ops II
Pros:price is great, decent comfort Comment:
I bent the headset to make it fit better, used the donut cups rather than the leatherette style, they feel more comfortable. Overall 40$ headphones, sure it's worth it |

I bought it for ps3 and never been able to make it work, the ''usb soundcard'' keep shutting on and off. Sound quality is terrible. I do not recommend this headset. im givind 3 stars because I want people to see this, otherwise i'd give none. |

Roccat Kulo ROC-14-702 Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset W/ External 7.1 USB Sound Card
Cons:Bad build quality
Pros:Great sound quality Comment:
-Microphone dead on arrival, has never worked with either USB sound card, or via 3.5 mm on multiple computers- Left ear sound has died after 5 months of use- Memory foam easily torn from general useI will be purchasing a second headset to replace mine, and will report back on quality of second set. |

Roccat Kulo ROC-14-702 Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset W/ External 7.1 USB Sound Card
Cons:the earpads start getting hard after considerable use. the mic could use some different gain settings, not quite a con, but the long cord sometimes gets in the way.
Pros:Sounds amazing, accurate In sound if you use the original earpads, the Memory+ earpads give more of a bass effect and the donut gives an interesting sound not quite like anything else. Comment:
The single best headset I've ever used, this thing destroys Beats by Dr. Dre headphones in audio quality on everything except the studio's, it also beats out basically any other earphone I've tried except studio headsets, with the addition of a Creative SoundBlaster Recon3D, not much stands a chance. It really does deliver "Gutsy Bass". in conclusion on the earpads (which Roccat will send you replacements with proof of purchase/receipt)Original: Beautiful sound, crisp highs, vibrating bass, clear mids, uncomfortable as hell after 2+ hours of useMemory+: Bass stays the same, fuzz's highs, mids are affected as well, uncomfortable after extended use (3+ hours)Donut: takes away some bass, ear piercing highs at times, mids are a little ear piercing as well. feels like ear is flat after taken off after use.Overall still a very decent headset, should cost way more then it does, when cranked all the way up, you can clearly hear the sound elsewhere within 150 sq ft area. |
well made with crisp clear sound and comfortable fittind headband and earcups
