This is a thick and apparently effectively created 'male to male' cable (same sort expense's $xx bucks at R-Shack). I have a cheapy that came with my cheapy monitor - I anticipated this one to be the very same, but was extremely happy to see that it is incredibly sturdy. none as usually - rapidly ship

Appears well made. May possibly not perform if your hardware demands 15 conductors. I bought this for a buddy's Asian produced 1440x900 19" Television to replace the IBM brand cable he borrowed from me when he refused to spend the absurd higher value of any in regional retailers. My 15 pin cable worked fine, but when we switched to this, WinXP offered up a generic modes list that excluded 1440x900 alternatively of the few modes essentially supported by his new Television.

Employed to direct connect my laptop to my 42" LCD. Image on LCD is beautiful with great clarity and no sign of signal degradation. Cable operates with out challenges. None so far. Need to of gotten a longer cable, but that's my fault. I place the male->female version on order, so I'll see if chaining them with each other will function ok.

Descent length, average develop high quality, fantastic signal throughput None. I use this with a switch box among my pc and XBOX360. Visuals look excellent on both systems, no fuzz, text is readable, and color reproduction is good at 1280x1024.

None so far and I don't see any issues coming from the cable If you require a VGA cable I advocate this a single its inexpensive and effectively it matches my laptop and my desktop almost everything i personal that is cpu connected is black so all in all nice cable for the price

Great worth. Performs like it should. The tiny knobs that tighten the screws could have been produced much better, or with a hex or lines for screw-driver/tool manipulation. Not tough to get on but difficult to get back off, if you want to modify one thing. Wonderful worth for the cost.

I guess I can use it as a backup for the next a single I obtain to replace this one particular. Does not operate great sufficient for my Pc to Television connection. The borrowed cable I used prior to was fine at 1920x1080. With this cable only 1024x768 is allowed. Cable does not detect monitor as "Sony Television" like other cable did. Attempted this cable on my other Computer that only utilizes 1152x864 at 75 Hz. This cable permitted 1152x864 but only at 60 Hz (or 45 Hz or 43 Hz). Tested a third cable which also worked fine for the Tv at 1920x1080 or whatever I want. I did not expect a basic cable to be a limiting factor. I'll throw it in a box and maintain it as a low grade spare. Searching back I must have paid more attention to the critiques. For extremely little more I could have bought a cable with substantially greater reviews. I was that cautious purchasing a motherboard, tricky-drive and so forth. Oh nicely...

I purchased this cable from a regional computer retailer, not newegg, anyways, I hooked this cable up from my 1080p LCD to my Computer and almost everything is operating seriously very good and as expected. Happy to report none!

Appears sturdy and effectively manufactured, delivers high top quality video to my new Vizio ... :) UPS doesn't ship on weekends. I used this VGA cable to connect my laptop to my new Television ... The picture good quality it delivers is truly above what I expected. Even with shipping this cable is a Wonderful acquire.

Affordable and well-constructed (minus a missing pin; see below). Missing the 15th pin that allows your pc to query the capabilities of the attached monitor. I don't know the complete range of hardware affected by this; I didn't have any troubles with this cable on my 1280x1024 monitor, but my 1440x900 monitor was not recognized and the appropriate resolution had to be forced (which is a real discomfort, and not often achievable).
