Nice good quality fan filter but... its high priced and it doesn't even come with fan screws or push pin thingies. I have no concept why they don't include things like them. otherwise a great priduct.

It does what it says it's supposed to, keeps dust out. I wish they just snapped on to the back of the fans. A redesign to do so would make this item that substantially greater which is why I gave four eggs. There is often room for improvement! I wish my Antec 900 case supported filters a bit less difficult, I had to cut a couple holes on the fan filter to fit it in there but it wasn't a big deal to do. Following the filters had been installed, it takes about 5 minutes to clean both of the filters I purchased and place back on.

Uncomplicated and easy installation. Bit high-priced. I discovered out I didn't even want a fan filter in the finish. My Thermaltake A90 already had a single, but it wasn't straight in front of the fan, it was on the front panel.

None No description on how these attached but took a likelihood on them. Bad mistake on my element total waste of dollars. These need you to either put them amongst the case and fan or screw them to the other side of the fan rather of just producing them so they easily snap over the fan. Save your cash just use what I typically use dryer sheets cut to size. Not only do they perform superior than these filters but they make your complete space smell much better.

I dont like dust on my (visible) excellent hardware, so I am utilizing them to filter all intake air on my positive pressure case setup. I use the filter media both with and w/o the framework based in the application. none. Great stuff for the price.

Excellent dust filter for the cost. Its a need to if u hate dust like me. Had to drill holes in the dust filter to mount it in the front of the fan, otherwise, u would have to mount it at the back of the fan. You really should generally use dust filter simply because dust is incredibly poor for electronics.

Really sturdy, the plastic is a stronger difficult plastic that must be in a position to take some punishment. It's basically a two portion filter, 1 is the base which you screw into the front of the fan (with the case inbetween) and the other portion is a cover that has the filter inside it. This indicates you can take away the cover holding the filter without working with any screws, it just snaps off and snaps back on. NONE This is a need to for any intake fans that move far more than 60 CFM. Otherwise you've just turned your pc into an air purifiyer which sounds good except all the dust and particles in the air reside inside your computer system.

Within a day, I could see that this filter collected far more dust than what i had believed would enter the case, so I know it's working. Principal grill of the filter can screw on a fan and the filter itself conveniently snaps on over the 120mm fan grill. Every little thing comes at a cost. Would prefer these to be sold in sets of additional than 1. Even though it traps a lot of dust, there's is a noticeable difference in airflow in between having these filters on or off.Material tends to rip simply as nicely, so be careful when cleaning/washing these filters. Run through cool water in the opposite direction of how the dust is collected, so that the dust falls off in the direction of the water stream. Air dry, never ever scrub. Vacuum the filter if essential just before washing and after it has dried for further cleaning. As to the con i've said above, I'd suggest installing these not on the major intakes. These are best suited for blocking dust towards the a lot more critical components - such as the intake on side panels. This will assist keep dust out of your video cards. Your front intake really should present a lot more than sufficient cooling and most dust is collected on the metal surface of the hard drives/bay which can be effortlessly cleaned off.You can get simpler-to-preserve material such as screen door mesh for other parts of your case beyond your fans. They are often accessible in plastic or malleable metal at your neighborhood house improvement store. You might cut this mesh to fit exactly over grills and intakes of your case. They also only price about ŭ for a roll!

Doesn't seriously impede air flow and does not let any dust in. Was not that pricey. Does what its suppose too do.. Doesn't come with any screws or anything to snap on. Was a discomfort in the you know what to put them in. I have a the Antec nine hundred so maybe thats the dilemma.. Wish I can discover a 200mm fan filter :D

Effectively, what else can you say about a filter. None Be aware that the frame that is holding the filter is kind of thick. Not a huge deal if you are just mounting it to an open fan slot on your case, but I was hoping to use it for the side window of my Antec 1200 case. The slot in the fan holder won't allow this filter to be utilised without having some mod'ing.

Not the finest filters out there, but is good for the cost. I wish they had holes on both sides so you can pick to mount the the filter in front or behind.. unfortunately you have to mount the filter behind the fan unless you drill holes.
