One of our wireless routers in the warehouse doesnt quiet reach a far corner with our mobile laptop. I took the laptop to the corner and took a reading...11% signal high quality. I then installed the antenna and the signal high quality jumped to 31%! none that I can see. Properly constructed and works as advertised.

Huge so it will pick up the signal better. Could have had a greater swivel design, where it would be much easier to screw on. I bought this because my dinky small linksys antenna was only receiving about 50% of the signal from my wrt54g. I bought this as a replacement and it has brought that signal up to 90%+. I no longer have a random connection interruption while playing games on the net. This is significantly bigger than the linksys antenna I had, but it is effectively worth it.

SMA base connector. Instantly improves my signal and connection. Cord is a bit too short. Cord is not detatchable from base. I originally purchased the RNX-A8 that comes without the base. I was not satisfied with that. I possibly did not get excellent signal because the computer is under the desk. But with this NEW antenna with base, I get Really high signal, 54Mbps and it stays continual. I would undoubtedly advise this item. I just wish it came with a longer cable. Good Stuff!!

Compared to the modest antenna that came with the laptop or computer it is outstanding.Getting used on a vista desktop. Vista sucks with wireless, XP is farther superior. No issues so far, maybe the wire could be longer!!

I had in on my laptop even though I was trying to come across a great reception from one of the open network spots. My attenae came with the 7ft further cable as a bonus, I have no concept what to do with it!! 7ft is huge.
