Low-cost. Performs. What else do you want to know. Went from connection at 12 mbs to 24 at 200' by way of numerous walls. Could use a slightly longer cord, but nonetheless worth the funds. |

Magnetic base is really cool... Unlike the antenna. Its actually large... thats about it. Its additional like for show, lead to it didn't seriously help substantially for me. My wireless laptop card could barely catch a signal at the end of the home, this card does incredibly slightly much better. For such a massive antenna, it need to get additional range. Expensive for the product's high quality as well. I figured it wouldn't be worth it, but i need this additional increase for my pc. I could only get either or 1 bar of signal before with laptop card (no antenna). Following i got this big a single, I only got 1 bar. So thats all i got.I would only advocate obtaining this if like me, you Require that 1 added bar of signal strengh. |

Extremely simple and powerful design. I attached this to my wireless adapter and my connection went from "very low" to "very very good." That's all I wanted. Cord is short, but I'm sure that because of attenuation. The antenna is justifiably massive, so make positive you have space for it. |

- Easy to install- Improves wireless coverage as advertised - Perhaps there was just one thing not quite suitable with my magnetic base, but it seems to lessen the effect of the antenna by a noticeable amount. Just connect these straight to your access point and they will work excellent! I got these antennas due to the fact I wanted to made a wireless to wired bridge for my new property office. I wasn't receiving really sturdy signal strength in my office so I got these and place them on my existing WiFi access point. NOTE: Make sure you verify that your existing access point has a RP-SMA connector! My WRT54GL DID NOT and I had to obtain a RP-TNC to RP-SMA converter ahead of I could use this antenna. This is not a complaint as it was my personal fault for not looking into this matter much more completely ahead of purchasing this product -- I mention it only to save persons some frustration. |

great value the antenna I got had to be defective. 25 feet away I got or 1 bar.switched it for the stock AW-520GU antenna and got max signal. Didn't genuinely need to have the additional acquire it must have had. as it turns out all I utilised is the extension cable RNX-A7B, that came asa bonus. I used the extension cable to remote the antenna of the AW-520GUsince it's in a structured wiring box. The extension cable allows you to use a single gang plate as an antenna mount. |

Making use of three of these antennas (without the bases) on a D-Link DIR 655 router (instead of the tiny four inch antennas that come with the router) raises a client's bars from Ɛ-1) to a solid 1 bar. That client is making use of a laptop with a built in antenna, 600 feet away from my router. Not bad! One more similar laptop client 400 feet away gets Ƒ-two) bars with 4 inch extended router antennas versus ƒ-3) bars with the Rosewills. Each router and customers are inside Recreational Vehicles but situated directly along side glass windows. None so far. I have been an amateur radio operator for more than 25 years and locate it challenging to picture 8 dbi get in a 13 inch antenna. I also have an outside 10 db gain omni ƒ.four GHz) antenna whose length is more than 2 feet; so someone is fudging the numbers. However, the Rosewills do their job. |

The antenna functions properly by itself, meaning the antenna attached directly to the Wifi card (not using the extender cable/magnetic base). I found with no antenna attached at all, the strongest signal was -95 dbm, with the antenna that came with my wifi card ƒ dBi) that signal was -58 dBm. I tried the Rosewill antenna with the extender cable and the signal dropped to -75 dBm. With the Rosewill antenna attached directly to the wifi card, the signal went up to -52 dBm (the ideal). The Rosewill antenna does have an elbow joint to change the angle of the antenna. I identified that the extender cable had too considerably loss in it, and produced my circumstance worse. My current setup has a USB extension cable attached to my Edimax Wifi card with the Rosewill antenna attached directly to that card. I utilised the totally free tool "inSSIDer" to do my measurements, I would strongly suggest it. I will purchase the Rosewill antenna with out the cable in the future, and save some income too. |

Inexpensive. Sturdy magnetic base. No signal acquire more than my stock ASUS WiFi-AP Solo antenna (P5W DH Deluxe), truly WORSE!! I tried moving it around my apartment and that did not help any. With ASUS Wifi-AP Solo stock antenna -35 to -38 dB.With Rosewill -50 to -55 dB.Just in case:ASUS Wifi-AP Solo + Extension Cable -40 to -43 dBRosewill + Extension Cable -57 to -59 dB Incredibly disappointed...The extension cable that Newegg is bundling with this antenna adds to the weaker signal strength. I guess that's to be expected somewhat. |

Exceeded expectations: replaced my old Dlink routers antenna with this and there is a consistent positive difference in connection mbps, good quality and consistency all through the home. For for a low value this was a considerable improvement. No way. Antenna w/ cable makes it possible for flexible positioning which can make a notable difference depending on location of your device. I have had mixed luck with this brand in the past - I don\'t forget when they came out bout 6 years ago and had some difficulty - current expertise has changed my mind massive time. |

Accomplished my goal. Connecting to a decent Cisco router aprrox 150 yards and about 6 walls and another building away. No boosters or daisy chained routers in between. Ordered extension cable to put up by roof (see cons on that). Certainly increased my range. Choosing up faint signals of routers 1ǚ mile away. Wimpy routers, not industry gear. Magnet is awesome feature. Got extension in bundle. Its fat and kills my signal. No worries as this stuck to side of rig gets good signal. Put it on opposite side of rig as to router and have best peak over, appears to focus sigal. I can hear copper rattling in antenna tube, no biggy. Absolutely a beast! Looks like a severe military grade piece of hardware. Def prefers routers at distance. There are closer routers to me, but wireless N at range works just as excellent. Def rec. for acquiring a fairly distant signal. |

Greater signal employing the new antenna directly onto the card. Even using the 6 foot extension cable overall improved signal more than the normal antenna. Nothing a lot, they could have employed a lower loss coax that would have improved overall signal from the 1 they did use. Im only giving them a four egg instead of 5 due to the fact of the high loss utilizing the enclosed coax and wish it had been 8 foot but then it would not have produced any improvement over the regular antenna due to loss. I may possibly bite the bullet and replace the coax with a far better top quality cable and make it 8 foot myself! Expense possibly Ů |

This antenna is great. I bought it since the regular antenna on my wireless card was having a difficult time picking up the signal from my router. The connection was intermittent and about 60-70% strength. This brought it up to a continuous 100% and a 19.five mb/s compared to the ɝ mb/s I would get ahead of. I can now also choose up 29 different networks. Ahead of it was about 4. Absolutely nothing Truly. Entirely rockin The antenna is bulky but its supposed to be to accomplish greater gain. Hides nicely behind a monitor |

Wonderful product! Works great, has increased my signal, rate, and number of networks discovered. Worked from the initial attempt. The magnet in the base is powerful enough. Appears that could be produced smaller. Would like to see a lot more separation (length of the horizontal leg) between the connector and the initial joint, so that the vertical portion of the antenna is further from the personal computer's body. Full size of antenna + base is 13 inches. |

Just plugged this factor in and BAM! five bars now, as opposed to the three occasionally 2 bars with that ganky stock antenna. It's accurate, this thing a bit tall, but it does precisely what it is supposed to do, enhance signal. And besides, the tall antenna makes my desk look cool (my desk is 1 huge wifi prepared station). =) I practically cut myself trying to open it. If there is a secrete to opening sealed plastic packages without having obtaining a plastic cut, please let me know. Obtain IT IF YOU Will need IT. |

it worked as a replacement for my other antennae. short cord, about two.5 feet lengthy
