Rapid transfer speeds with Class six SDHC. Speeds are equally great with XP and OS X. I call this card reader the Major Fattie due to the fact it's so wide. It's so wide... (how wide is it?) it's so wide that I can't use the adjacent USB slots when this point is plugged in. I had to get a USB extension cable just to keep all ports obtainable. Oops. Other than the mondo girth, this is an great card reader. Incredibly handy to have in my briefcase or pocket.

I appreciate this point. I use it to interface with my 16 GB sdhc cards to pull photographs, video, and music to my pc and back once again. It has great transfer speeds. The issue that impressed me the most is that as soon as you plug it into a usb port, it instantly registers the card alternatively of having to wait a few seconds to detect it. The only real con to this is that since of the shape, it will interfere with usb ports directly surrounding it. This is a quick reader with good style, sturdy, and I like the double caps...I can put my card in and close the cap with it nevertheless inside, which is valuable for transporting the card, and given that I typically like to leave my card inside of the reader anyway, it's a nice function. I bought this along with a Kingston 8gb SDHC card for my camera. I needed an adapter to perform with my new Tv. Inexpensive! That's about it. My pc recognizes this reader but this reader doesn't recognize my PNY 8 GB SDHC I received this Rosewill reader final night. I hooked this reader into USB 2. port and plugged my eight GB SDHC in it mentioned "please insert the disk." In other words, it doesn't recognize my eight GB SDHC. The SDHC card is in working situation, so I assume I received a defective Rosewill reader.

Operates excellent, really like the bright blue LED. In no way had a dilemma with it and it nonetheless works great.
