This product does what it is expectged to do. Installation with disc asy to do, works on multiple sites where my labtop is linked to internet, without the need of site-specific installation.

Replaces my backup Hp-Compac computer's failed built-in LAN. Very easy setup and install. Got my Microsoft and Norton updates no problem. Earthlink will not sign me on. Probably because the password is currently used on my main computer. Perfect rating if I would need to switch to the backup and fully test it susccessfully. I am fully confident though that it is a great solution. Also great if you are out of PCI slots on an older computer.

I had trouble with my ethernet connection after a storm - it wouldn't work. For $20 this adapter allowed me to go around it with no lose it performance.

I have used this product for about a month with no issues. My ethernet port crapped out on me, and this product has been a great substitute. The software installed with no issues.

No problems installing with Windows XP. Existing Ethernet Card was in use on a direct connection, so used this adapter to provide additional 10/100 connection to network. Have had for a little over a month and no problems.

Tiger direct extended photos are NOT accurate for this product. I expected to be getting product with a link light and activity light. Instead I received the main photo item. Main photo appeared to have a led - but it is just a bump where one COULD be if they installed it. The product installed and worked beautifully for me. Not sure where all the other negative reviews are coming from. This is a gem for anyone that needs a usb 10/100 connect for a pc that has nothing built in.

I've only had this for a week, and so far it's working fine. The only problem is it falls apart! If I take it out of the port, I have to press it together to put it back in or get it to stay together! It's falling apart, but basically you get what you pay for.

The LED light does not work, but otherwise this unit has worked for me without any problems. I run XP, the driver(s) installed without a problem, Windows recognized the device immediatly, and it works everytime. I am very happy with this product.

I don't understand why TigerDirect is even selling this. The driver minidisc doesn't even work on any computer. And there are no drivers that actually make the thing compatible. Not to mention that the price of this item here is about four times as much as I've seen recently. I'm not shopping here again, that's for sure. Not when broken items are being sold.

Same problems as experienced by other Reviewers ... LED does not function, drivers load and are recognized on Windows 2000 Professional computer; however, USB-Ethernet adapter fails to recognize attached network cable. The installation was tried multiple times on both a laptop and desktop computer without success. Would definitely NOT recommend this product!

I tried two different USB-Ethernet adapters on two different Windows XP computers...neither worked. Tiger was great about taking the first one back. Sabrent still hasn't responded to my technical questions. Driver loaded (2002 dated version) but no LED lights or Windows never sees the patch cable connected. I wouldn't suggest purchasing these items.

First, the LED does not work. It is covered up. Cannot get the adapter to work. Plug it in and XP says it has malfunctioned. When you click the window, xp says no drivers are loaded. Xp will not recognize the drivers on the cd.
