With most net books not having a DVD drive, this is a great work around. Try and catch these baby's on sale. They are well worth it. No problems so far and it does anything I have needed it to do. Thought I said enough but comes in different colors too.

Needed this DVD burner to back up a pc that is barely working. The DVD drive was the first thing to go. It worked great as soon as I hooked it up. Was able to burn all my pics, music, and important files to DVD with no problem. And as always, they delivered in one day gotta love it.

The Samsung SE-S084 seems to work well but to you have to down load earlier versions of NERO to install the software to work with Windows 7. Just wanted to give a heads up on this.

Bought it for my wife. She loves to burn her own DVD's while sitting in front of the TV. She had been using my old external from my home office but it was big and bulky and you had the power cord to deal with. With this small unit all she had to do is plug in the usb cord and she was ready to go out of the box. Now she just stores this extremely compact unit in the end table drawer. Super easy!

I Ordered this drive as a mate to my Gateway Netbook which dosen't have a drive. It worked fine right out of the box and I promply uploaded 3 full movies to my hard drive. I'm dissapointed because the specs listed (cd-I,s) as playable. I have a collection of CD-I disk which I hoped to play again and was my main reason for ordering this drive. It did not play them. CD-I was listed right on the box???

Does what it's supposed to. Using it on an XP Pro and Windows 7 machine. I like that it doesn't need an AC adapter as it get power from the USB port.

The DVD Burner on my Laptop quit & I had been shopping around to replace it... I was afraid if I did, something would just happen to the pc.. Would have been my luck ! So I decided I might as well get an external one, then I'll have it for any other PC's I buy. I was shocked to find one so inexpensive with a Popular Name Brand. I have used it a dozen times so far and it is a Great Product...!!!

I purchased this unit for use with a Samsung N135, netbook computer, only to find that it does not work with Windows 7. I tryed contacting NERO and Samsung only to find that they can't help me get up and running. Oh, I was told I can purchase more firmware that may fix the problem. Your website should warn people, interested in purchasing this unit that it doesn't work with Windows 7.

My internal Dell DVD Writer quit working so I bought this. Good buy. It was easy to hook up, easy to use, and did the job.

The DVD writer-player arrived and was immediately recognized by the operating system. It works as advertised. I especially like the trim thin design as I use it with my Netbook when traveling and takes almost no space in the carrying bag.
