Great bargain

When the on-board drive in my old laptop failed, I shopped around and decided on this one -- based on price and features. First one I received didn't work at all, but when I returned it, you gave me full credit and didn't charge shipping on the replacement -- I didn't lose a penny. And the second one works like a charm. I use it on two machines, both if them dual-booting Linux and the giant from Redmond, and it works flawlessly on all four installations, whether for data, music, or movies. I'd buy it again if I had another, similar need. |

great but support disc needs improvement

The program on Disc,NERO,gives you a free trail for a month,doesnot work,there upgrade nero 9 is 2 weeks trail,it works cost more. unless you have a drive in your computer already you bmust purchase a program to view movies ,or burn dvd etc. |

Does not work for intended purpose

Purchased the SE-S084C and am a bit let down. I bought it to use on my netbook but the usb will not recognize it. It will, however, work in my desk top. |

Needs USB Power

My netbook USB 2.0 ports did not supply power so I couldn't use the drive. Check this before buying one. |
Got it for FREE with the Samsung N210 netbook. It just work as good as its supposed to be. Write fast, read fast, even if its via USB 2.0. Great burner if you have a netbook!
