I have used Sans Digital before and once again The gear acts very reliably. I set up 2 Samsung 1tb f3 hdds in a raid 0 setup. I am using it as a huge boot drive for a mac mini. It is very fast as a bootdrive with an external fw800 hookup. It never dropped out and did not freeze. It has a lot of features and choices of setup via the blue lcd screen. I wanted a quiet system so I set the fan to always low. Since the screen lets you read temps I checked it a lot. I did a 900gb clone and I zero erased all of the 2tb raid 0 drives. total of 2.9tb of writing and reading.. the drives never went above 125f.. very good it is a fast setup in raid 0 it can copy at 60mb for hours on end. It is so good I may buy more. It cost a bit more then some but has many more features. Temp readout temp alarm. fan control. auto , low, high. plus more.
