I recommend this card to even the most tough core gamer. The price tag/performance ratio cant be beat, and it runs quiet and cool. Ive spent far more on other cards in the previous, and this is the initial time Im blown away at what I got, I cant believe these are so low-cost.I might purchase a second one for Crossfire later. None at all. |

1. Cost to overall performance ratio is awesome for this card. In my test system, it placed amongst a 460 and 470 in general overall performance.two. This card is a extremely managable size and only requires a single external power plug. The power connector is placed at the back of the card, creating it quite effortless to handle.three. Heat has been a non-concern with this card. Even overclocked, I haven't gone past the higher 50's. For what this card is, there are no cons I can feel of for how I use it. I do not crossfire, so I'm not sure well this card rates there. The built in overclock tools were uncomplicated to use. I hadn't viewed as oc'ing this card at all until I employed them and believed "what the heck". I placed a extremely mild overclock (this is for a home theatre/light gaming computer). I upped the core by 20mhz and the memory clock by 40mhz (just due to the fact I could, not mainly because it was essential). |

Very good functionality, effortless to OC, not over priced, and other issues I cant consider of right now :-P None genuinely...I wasnt to impressed when I very first got it, but I was operating 32" LCD television. I have switched to a 23" LED backlight 1080p and it makes a planet of difference!!! This card for the income is a truly fantastic acquire. Every game I have played on it so far have been just about maxed out if not maxed and I havent had a difficulty. I have not tried famously GPU demanding games like Crysis and etc on it, so please dont mistake this me as saying it will play everything on max...I am pleased regardless with this card! |

Appears to be run quite quiet Terrible artifacts, pixelation even on stationary images, windows boot screens and applications. Attempted diverse (current and older) drivers, card slots, power cables etc. Possibly a factory defect. Returning the item for a diverse video card. When you construct a lot of machines anything like this will ultimately happen :( |

Powers my dual monitor setup more than DVI ྷ" and 19"). Also working with the HDMI out to my HDTV. The card supports audio over the HDMI out port which is a plus due to how my Computer speakers are setup. Wasn't as quickly as I had hoped, but nonetheless has a lot of power to give great framerates for the games that I play. Performs properly in my new windows 7 rig. Hardware operates, drivers play nicely with Win7 64 bit. No complaints so far. |

Effortless set up, Runs any game on the industry. Noisiest video card I have ever owned. May well just have been my terrible luck, but it tends to make this continuous clicking sound that intensifies anytime its operating a GPU intensive game, or even scrolling up and down in firefox. If the noise doesn't bother you, or you use headphones, this is a fantastic card for the dollars. But I wouldn't even contemplate this card in an HTPC. |

Very good cost for a 6850 card. Quiet fan. With Win 7 64 bit Pro, I get random Computer reboots (blue screen of death) about once per day. I have tried the drivers on the CD and on Sapphire's site to no avail. My old GeForce 8800GTS runs devoid of problem on the exact same machine. Not confident if it is worth the ุ to outright get a refund on this or RMA it for a different attempt - even although it basically doesn't function for me. I saw a couple of other people right here with blue screen difficulties as well. Most likely it is an ATI driver situation. Pricey way to try out a card! Disappointing. |

My Nvidia drivers work wonderful! Boosted my windows rating a bit for my old graphics card. Mainly DOA on arrival, had it up and running right after executing all sorts of crazy driver and bios updates. Subsequent day it was a no go. Must have never angeredd the Nvidia g0ds. This goods casing appears a bit flimsy to me compared to my Palit 8800GT. Doesn't seat firmly into my Asus mobo. |

* Great price tag for efficiency.* The fan is quite quiet.* Low energy consumption.* Low temperature.* DirectX 11. * Poor OpenGL performance.* Drivers are somewhat buggy (as of Catalyst 11.three).* Requires two slots in program chasis. Even though this is a mainstream (mid-finish) card, it manages to run graphic intensive games (like Cryisis and Cryisis two) flawlessly, although it suffered on OpenGL games such as Second Life, where my GeForce 9800 GT was slightly more rapidly than this card. |

Fantastic . . . when it's working. So far, following 3 days I've gotten 7 black screens of death and one particular vertical screen of death. The Black SoD's came while I was playing SC2 or watching films. The Vertical SoD came when the computer was just idling. It's not the PSU, it's not a heat challenge, and it's not a memory concern. Thus, it must be the video card. I have updated all the drivers and tested the card with Furmark. No crashing then. I just wanted to let men and women know that there might be inherent problems with the 6850's and Windows 7 64-bit. |

-Card is quiet enough up to ㅴ% fan speed.-It runs extremely cool (idles @ 32C and typically stays below 60C when gaming.-Overclocks extremely quickly.-Well developed cooler-Excellent value for funds-Only needs one six-pin 75W PCI-E power connector as opposed to 2 -Once you pass 70% fan speed it is no longer silent at all (but this isn't entirely surprising). You want to overclock this card. You can very easily bring the core clock up to 900Mhz and memory up to 1100Mhz (from 775Mhz and 1000Mhz) with out increasing the voltage and with no changing load temps drastically. It can be overclocked really a bit additional if you are skilled 鿶Mhz core and 1200Mhz mem) while I suspect that it may well start to run extremely hot without right case air flow. |

Quieter than you feel, general a fantastic card for the price. Overclocking with this card is alright. Runs cool. None genuinely that I can see, have only had it for a small more than a week now though. People overrate this card. It's a very good card for the price but it's not the ideal card on the planet like men and women make it out to be. It won't run Crysis at a steady 60 frames like people today say it will. It runs WoW relatively effectively at 60 frames on High graphics not ultra. Though, a few of the options can be on ultra. Oh might mention that this is on the 1280x1024 resolution, so it's not even on the highest resolution. I bought this card for Fallout: New Vegas, and it runs it really well essentially. Steady frame rate on highest settings. BUT, you will run into spots where it will dip down. Also, on highest settings it will skip about when it's loading some regions but it will only take 2 seconds. Overall great card but not the best. You get what you pay for. |

Price tag, overall performance, power consumption, quiet, smaller size, and very overclockable. None. Superb value for the attributes and power you get from this card. The Sapphire Trixx overclocking utility is incredibly nice as well. I upped mine to 875 core and 1100 memory devoid of a hitch. With fan settings on auto, ྾% idle) temps were 45c and under load 67c. Under load the fan was at 40% which was nonetheless quiet. Maxes most any game at 1680x1050. |

...this is indeed a good card... but some folks are becoming misleading in right here. You Can not max anything out at full resolution on just about any game and have a playable frame rate. In Half Life two: The Lost Coast I ran the benchmarking tool and got an average of 56.7 fps when every little thing maxed out and at full resolution. On the other hand on SC2 I turned everything up and got an average of about 14 fps at total resolution. 14 fps is not great adequate framerate for me. If you maxed out almost everything in Crysis I can promise that you may skip along beneath 10 fps. people today get excited over new toys and thus tend to exaggerate a lot. Don't get it twisted, this is a mid level card and functions as such. It isnt the 6950, its the 6850. Don't count on to pay much less than 赨 and get a card that can manage almost everything no challenge. This is seriously an brilliant card for the price. I still extremely suggest it. I just don't want folks to make a decision based on misleading evaluations. |

Superior Crossfire and Scaling: AMD actually got it proper with the CCC 11.four drivers.Superior Overclock headroom and scaling. About 50% far more hidden overall performance waiting to be unlocked. Two of these cards are quicker (when overclocked) than GTX 590 and HD 6990, but expense half as much. Only dual crossfire capable. Tends to make me wonder what three or 4 cards would do, but 6800 series can only CFX with two. They possibly did this on objective, or there would be totally no reason at all to get a 6900 series card. Added one more of these cards for Crossfire, clocked them to 1000corememory, and now they score larger than GTX 590 and HD 6990 in both 3dmark11 (P and X) and Unigine Heaven 2.5. You can view my scores on the 3dmark web site database. |

Runs Starcraft 2 and Oblivion on extremely high settings devoid of a hitch, even with my poor old Athlon 64 X2 3800+ running issues in the background. It's a tiny big and I had problems receiving my screen to appear correct with HDMI, so I ended up with RGB but it nevertheless appears good. Like other individuals, I'm impressed that this card only takes one 6-pin energy connector.
