Fantastic quick, reliable card so far. Runs BC2 like a dream in DX11. Doubt it will hiccup at anything you can throw at it. Good card! It ran good correct out of the box and scored a 7.8 out of a 7.9 in the win 7 overall performance index. It picked my fps up in Rift and WOW. It also runs decently cool in my case . 49C It's enormous! Make sure you have a nice big location for this puppy. My fps didn't choose up a high as I would wish ,but I'm operating a slow cpu. ƒ.66 core duo) , so I figure it's time for it to be upgraded as nicely.

This card exceeds all my expectations. Runs cool, doesn't struggle on any game, very quiet (for a gfx card), clean design, has a "goodie bag" with all the extras it has. I have had no difficulty whatsoever with this card. It is wonderful I haven't applied all the features such as eyefinity. The fan can get super loud if you tweak it manually (mine is set to auto) and I don't overclock so I can't comment on that. For the value and reliability, nonetheless, it is an remarkable card. It runs all my games (new and old) magnificently. I did a lot of research (Tom's Hardware) on the 6800 hundred series. Buy this card, you will not be disappointed.

Finally upgraded from 275 gtx. Decreased heat inside case by three degrees (everest pro employed to measure temps). I enjoy this card! Tried bfbc2, coh, Black Ops...no challenge for my 6870. High settings can't max this card's percent usage ( msi afterburner). Card temps remain beneath 70 degrees inside my Storm Scout case so I don't want to manage the fan speed, automatic is fine. No need to have to overclock this baby! Have ordered one more card to crossfire. Catalyst Manage Center is somewhat confusing to use when you 1st noob it coming from Nvidia. I was worried that lack of physx would cripple my gaming encounter. Turns out that a lot of new games have their personal graphics engine that render unique effects. For example EA's Havok engine.

Fairly a lot top rated of the line. Ideal efficiency for cost. I could very easily assistance high graphics modes if I so chose to (but I always put settings at low to get better efficiency). Came with an HDMI 1.4 cable. None that I would necessarily look at to be a con. The last time I purchased a solo graphics card was 8 years ago and it was just the card, so I was surprised to see this huge thing when I opened the box.

Definitely destroyed my nVidia 9800GTX, although that was no surprise.Was in a position to run every little thing I threw at it at largely high settings with acceptable frame rates. I was even able to get Metro 2033 operating at max, minus advanced DOF and just under 1080P, although some of that may also have been the rest of my pc showing its age.Comes with tons of added accessories. The MiniDisplayPort-to-Full-DisplayPort adapter was good, along with the HDMI cable and VGA-DVI adapter. Those parts alone would price rather a bit. Immediately after a few days, it was toast. Started receiving random graphical glitches in games after lengthy sessions, but without having extreme heat buildup (temps never broke 80C, and generally hovered closer to 70C under load). Then it stopped becoming able to render the desktop correctly (crazy ghosting effects on every little thing, and something 3D was just a mess of triangles). I tried reinstalling the card and drivers but that didn't aid. Am at the moment RMA-ing it back to Newegg. DOA board aside, this is a fantastic card to upgrade to if you're searching for a DX11 capable card with fantastic overall efficiency. Value-to-efficiency wise, this is an outstanding obtain.

I have owned this gpu for the last month, and it is Awesome!!! I have overclocked it to 990񳂌 on stock voltage and it destroys just about every game I throw at it. It runs at a max of 70C on 50% fan settings, which is not audible if you wear headphones. The only game it doesn't get 60 fps in is Crysis, it gets about 30 with 4aa on. none

Outstanding card. PROOF that the days of spending in between 跌 - 軸 on video cards are a thing of the past :)You can run Mass Effect 2, entirely maxed.. 4xቬx.. 1080p.. at a silky smooth 60fps. You want much more power than this, you're greedy and/or spoiled. Large.. but most folks must have a lot of space as long as you aren't in 1 of those cramped instances or possibly one of those HTPC-precise kind situations. Thank you AMD for ending the videocard markup madness! Even though the naming schemes could be additional accurate as not to deliberately confuse shoppers.

none On my second card now and will rma for refund. I run my monitor at 1440x900 as it is the highest resolution it will display at 75hertz but neither card would create that resolution. It goes from 1280x1024 to 1600x900 no resolutions in between. Even the new 11.1 drivers with full winxp support didn't make a difference. Supported it to each Amd and Sapphire with no outcomes. Even called Amd assistance just to ask there opinion with no result there either. Incredibly disappointed. Have a number of other Sapphire cards and never had an problem. Even my Sapphire 9700 pro is still running in 1 of my computers. The worst is I will have ะ in shipping fees and nothing to show for it.

i truly like this gpu, plays every little thing, css plays at 150+ frame continuous (other than nuke, go figure). plays hl2, crysis, been playing the stalker series very bit, in no way truly get bogged down. catalyst control center! be careful what you alter, i checked off some obscure box that it supposed to auto-check you screens resolution when the pc wakes up and stuff and it would set the resolution to CRAZY sizes and it took me forever to figure what was going on. haven't oc'd this thing at all, going to eventually seeking forward to it.

Looks nice, very good efficiency for the duration of restricted time it worked Died soon after about four hours of operation. I verified that my energy supply was sufficient, almost everything was hooked up correctly, and that all my cables had been very good. It also killed the HDMI input on my main monitor when the card died. If it just required RMA'd, I wouldn't be so mad and wouldn't bother with the assessment, but the card damaging my monitor was just too a lot.

-Upgraded from a Sapphire 5770 and the energy boost is extremely noticeable-Overclocks fairly nicely.-Runs at low temperatures, even though it is overclocked somewhat high.-I like the look of the card. I've constantly been a fan of enclosed cards. -I got strange graphical errors when playing some games and as soon as when watching a video. The screen goes black for an instant and then half of the screen is cut off and reaappears on the other side of the monitor. I've Never seen an error like this prior to. I'm not positive if it's because it is overclocked (I lowered frequency and it hasn't occurred since) or if I just got a slightly faulty model.-Card is a bit long. Just brief enough to clear the difficult drive cage in my Antec 300.

Great. Upgraded from 3870. Things go rapidly now. And quieter. Don't hesitate to get it. - Big (like a lot of other new graphic cards)- No Linux driver however :P If you are going to do some linux function, acquire Nvidia. you "can" get it to work on linux but thats some works to do as of Jan 14 2011. But i guess it counts for only .01% of you who are getting this.

It's a bargain for the mainstream. As soon as in a whilst my monitor won't detect the dvi signal coming from my card. Have to take gpu out and put back in and pray. Very good for a headache each four weeks. Worst rebate service in the enterprise. Still waiting for 1 from a December buy and filing. Unreal.

Runs new games on max settings. The cost isn't too high-priced. None Idles at around 48C. SCII and Battlefield two maxed cause it to run about 53C - 57C. This is a large card both in terms of height and length. Make certain you have room in your case esp if you want to crossfire these.

It Does its Job and does it quite very nicely.It Fit fine in my Lian Li Mid-tower. Nothing genuinely. I have Been buying ATI(sapphire)cards for years and they have usually been excellent.Newegg as often was excellent..any time i do a develop i use them.

nice looking. I hooked this up in a new personal computer and it kept locking up on me. Kept obtaining the blue screen. I will always stay with nvidia from now on.

Good card. Not considerably to truly say about that. It gets the job carried out and was a fairly good improvement over a 4850 About three months immediately after my purchase, my personal computer would have these random shutdowns and restarts from every 20minutes to possibly an hour. I tried swapping out the power supply, took out any unnecessary pci cards, unplugged all usb connections beside keyboard and mouse, but I still kept finding the random shutdowns. So I then decided to try the graphics card. I took it out and replaced it. I had my personal computer on for 2 days straight with no random shutdowns/restarts.I figured it was my 6870. I contacted Sapphire about this by way of their support tickets. No response. Then my ticket gets deleted somehow. I make another one. No response. Then Again my ticket gets deleted. Horrible customer support. I want to uncover a different firm. Diamond and Sapphire are out of the question now.
