sleek searching cards. these points are quite major but are incredibly quiet. got 2 of these for a new system i built couldn't be happier, got them overclocked to 950񳆚 and idles at 37C in my HAF 932. none i attempted turning the fan on max on each cards and it sounds like an indy automobile in your face. at auto fan speed its inaudible. undoubtedly glad i got these.

Just got My Second Sapphire 6970 2Gb and Boy does Xfire Rocks! lol Extremely Quiet in Xfire and Destroys Everthing you can throw at It! So I have further HDMI's + Display Adapters now. Seriously even though it is by far the ideal card set up I have had in 4yrs! Plus I Game on a 50" Panasonic VT25 3D Television with Monster HDMI M2000 1.4a with Onkyo 7.two surround Sound. Still Took 3 days to get right here! Lol Vantage Benchmarks = 35506 Xfire3D Mark11 = P10002 XfireMY Total Vantage Score with I7 920 ʄ.1 = 32101Newegg Is The Finest and will continue to have my Enterprise!Sapphire The King Of All AMD(ATI) Graphics and all Video Cards to be exact! The Best 6970 out period! Stays so cool and fan is never loud as the other 6970's. Has greater mosfets than the other 6970's and Benchmark on Vantage was 23k+, 3d Mark 11 was 52xx. Took 3days to come from CA. Lol My second one is on the way from NJ. For those that keep purchasing the other 6970's these are AMD Black Vision Cards! These cards are to be paired with AMD Black CPU's ( Bulldozer 6,8 Cores ) once the are released. Will update total method benchmarks When second card arrive.

I required power and stability, and this card delivers. So far I'm seeing zero troubles operating at the maximum allowable clock speeds for both the GPU and the memory, with an additional 15% accessible power, set from within the normal AMD Catalyst software program. As for actual efficiency, I've been conducting substantial testing with Shattered Horizon, Poor Organization two, Firm of Heroes and Crysis Wars. Each and every game runs at 60+ fps at maximum settings, such as AA, at all times. It's a enormous step up from my old card. BC2 is particularly smooth. It's fairly lengthy and doesn't consist of any sort of backplate for structural support. I can't say how noisy the fan is simply because I swapped out the stock cooler for a full cover waterblock. The lack of a backplate is troubling thinking about the weight of the copper block, but a small chunk of foam placed underneath seems to present adequate support. Used this card in new develop. runs everything I throw at it with ease. Card is quiet and everything looks smooth. Mass impact 3 looks remarkable. the only con I can assume of is the price tag. It's about 20 to 30 dollars much less than when I bought it. Updating ATI driver was a pain but I have been through worse.
