SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7970 21197-00-40G Video Card
Cons:None. No coil noise, no black screen issues
Pros:I was between this and the MSI Lightning. Since the Lightning is more expensive and never in stock, I decided to go with the Sapphire, and am very happy with my choice. So far I have hit 1200/1700 without changing voltage at all! And I haven't even tried to push it any further yet, so I'm sure it's still capable of even more. |

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7970 21197-00-40G Video Card
Cons:- No backplate- Drivers
Pros:- Best single GPU card on the market- Lots of overclock headroom- Reference design- Includes Display Port adapters, HDMI Cable, Long Crossfire bridges and more.. Comment:
This thing is fast really fast. I had 6870 CF before this beast and I'm glad I switched. No more Crossfire issues and waiting for news CAP Profiles. Performance is better with the 7970 obviously but not by much as the 6870 CF scales nicely. I believe we will see a more important gap in the performance of the 7970 when they will release some good drivers. Drivers are really terrible right now that's the only down side when buying a new gen card. There's no coil whine or squealing. |
Very happy with my purchase. OC's like crazy and the cooler is solid.
