SILVERSTONE Black Lascala Series LC17-B ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Cons:would only be better if it was 2"-3" deeper. some power supplies will need extension cables for MB connections
Pros:good looks, solidly built, pretty quiet |

SILVERSTONE Black Lascala Series LC17-B ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Cons:Supplied fans are slightly loud
Pros:Great looks, spacious interior, solid build quality Comment:
This is a very well-built and great looking HTPC case. I have my HTPC along-side my other A/V equipment, and it fits right in. The fans are slightly loud, but with a quiet power supply, a PC built with this case is not overly noisy. |

SILVERSTONE Black Lascala Series LC17-B ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Cons:Absolutely massive. Top of case can be difficult to put back on.
Pros:Looks like my receiver. Very good fit and finish. No plastic parts! Comment:
Great case. I was looking for something very simple for my HTPC and this fit the bill. The price is not bad as it doesn't include a PS. I picked up a "Zerodba" PS and everything fits nicely together.Would recommend! |
i stripped down a pc i had and mounted it all in this case. everything went smoothly as my was a matx board.. if it was a full size board in this case, everything would have been a tight fit.. the price was good as it was on sale at the time i got it. the size/style of the front panel blends nicely with the rest of my a/v equipment.. as this is a htpc case, depth usually isn't an issue in mounting/shelving with the other pieces of equipment being up to 24" deep [amps] it would have been nice if the case was a little taller, but it would not be needed if the case was a good 2"-3" deeper.[oh, get a 20/24pin extensions cable. you will most likely need it with how the ps is mounted. i had one and used it, but i had to cut/extend/splice the 4pin motherboard connection. should have got an extension cable for that one too]
