this thing is quiet
Comment:
It is quieter than I thought it would be. I have this powering my water cooling set up and computer and so far so good. Its bigger than normal power supplies and make sure that you have the right ends connected to the PS and Mo Bo on the 24pin connector, and you'll be fine. Over all I think its great

SILVERSTONE DECATHLON DA850 850W Power Supply
Cons:Could use a bigger (140mm) fan on this PSU. Cables are not sleeved end-to-end.

Pros:Modular. Good quality. All cables sleeved. Somewhat quiet.
Comment:
Bought this to replace my old 500W PSU. I have several HDD's, 3 CD-ROM'S, an 8800GTX, and an overclocked 6600. It's nothing to this PSU. It allows me to continue to pack things into my computer wiothout worrying about power shortage.

SILVERSTONE DECATHLON DA850 850W Power Supply
Cons:No cooling fan monitoring connector for the motherboard, if i have to be realy picky !

Pros:Powerfull, silent operation, resonable size for the power, fully modular with connector to fit any configuration, 2X 8 pins PCI-E.
Comment:
I had in my previous computer(P180) an ENERMAX LIBERTY 620W who was dead silent and highly stable, but was missing power for my future project of Crossfire. And i think this one is as stable and silent but had huge power...70A on 12v.I put it in my new case ANTEC P182, it's a thight fit i had to add a fan guard on the lower psu chamber case fan to be sure to keep the leads out of the fan blade and it's working great, and the cables lenght are more then enough to hide all of them in the ANTEC case so don't do like me buying extension cable for nothing. If you want to go for somethig like an ENERMAX GALAXY 850w you'll have to remove the lower chamber fan. I like it as much as my ex-ENERMAX LIBERTY that i already like a lot, as much as a men can love is PSU !!!!! This review was modfied by poster @ 09-30-07 12:55 PM
