SILVERSTONE SG03-B Black Aluminum MicroATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
Cons:Fan grill mesh thing is made from aluminum, no rear exhaust.
Pros:Small, compact and light, really nice design for part placement, really good airflow potential, accepts large GPUs. Comment:
Case is probably the best I've seen by looking through the net when I was shopping. The case looked quite cramped when I first got it but after installing everything it was tight but had a bit more space than I expected. I had a massive case before so my PSU had long cords but the case gave enough room that I was still able to keep the way for the airflow cord free with the exception of the fan's cord.Silverstone offers the PSU to be mounted either way to have it suck air from the vent of the case or from the CPU which is nice if you have a heatsink like their NT06. Just make sure your heatsink is no larger than 82mm and check the manufacturer's sites for dimensions otherwise you could end up with the wrong measurements. The one thing that really bothers me is the fan grill mesh thing's material. It has to be removed in order to install fans and it's tough to remove without a flathead. After removing it to replace the stock fan I noticed the thing had bent while I was trying to pry it off, luckily I bent it back and straightened back okay but after that I decided to sand down the little plastic parts to make things easier in the future. |

Cons:The stock case fan is a bit noisy.
Pros:* Enough room for two 120mm case fan, and can fit a huge graphics card like nvidia 8800. * Stylish look Comment:
I bought this because I want to place my computer on my glass desk, and I am very happy with this case so far. However, because of the size of the case, it took me awhile to assemble. Also, it took me a lot of trial and error to succuessfully tidy the cables to allow two front case fans to work properly. |

Cons:-A bit pricey for a mATX case
Pros:-Light-mATX but lots of room to work with-Innovative design Comment:
This is a great case. It is easy to work with and can come totally apart for more room. The floor hard drive mounting is a nice space saver. The case is aluminum and looks very stylish. Flip open doors are located on the front for firewire, usb, audio and a hidden 3.5" drive.Very great case! |
I used this as an HTPC case, as it is very compact yet you dont need to compromise on system compenent size. Is very light, yet seems to be quite sturdy. Was very happy with it, would purchase again.
