Totally ModularQuietLow HeatBlackGood Cable Style None I am process builder at Yeti FunctionsWe develop a ton of systems and we appreciate employing Silverstone PSUs simply because of their low noise and modular style. We used this power provide on 3 systems and they are wonderful. Just enough for any mATX single GPU setup. |

This PSU looks very promising for mini-ITX builds in cases like the Lian Li Computer-Q11, Pc-Q08, or Computer-Q07. I've noticed reviews of the Pc-Q07 where they particularly mentioned problems with most modular PSUs becoming 150mm in depth and wishing they had one thing a bit shorter. This 1 is 140mm in depth and, thus, solves that crowding difficulty. A different bonus is that you can get a brief cable set for this PSU (search silverstone pp05). There are various fantastic PSUs out there with modular cables, but the included cables are designed to reach across full-sized instances. That's just extra clutter for a mini-ITX case. Also bad the pp05 cables add ~ฤ to the cost if you want them, but at least they are accessible as an solution. This PSU will deliver sufficient juice to run a GTX 460 and a number of of the other lesser GPUs that will fit a mini-ITX case. |
Full modularity at a extremely competitive value! The cables are all sleeved and obviously labeled for straightforward installation, and you're given lots for all the connections a 500w supply would ever need.It fit in my Silverstone ML03B perfectly! The fan is practically fully silent. This is honestly the quietest PSU I've ever owned. None so far. I wish there had been much more modular alternatives in the low wattage marketplace. I utilised this in a recent HTPC develop and it is great, but nevertheless a bit overkill for my energy desires. Nonetheless, I'd rather have the further PSU energy than have to deal with a ton of unused cables cluttering my case.
