Pros:can't beat 5.1 sound, works great. Comment:
NCIX didn't have any so I ordered it from California. $30 is a lot to pay for something the board already has, except for the SPDIF in/out and since I use a ATI aiw card my line in is being used. UPDATE: after using this about a year now I found the AC97 audio drives and this 5.1 adapter doesn't wanna work in 5.1 mode with some games, Far Cry to name one. The surround for DVD and AVI playback is no problem.I still recomend just buying a Soundblaster card (thtas what I ended up doing) over this adapter. Even if it's the cheapest one. I was obliged to install this adaptor in the bottom slot because it took too much space in the higher slot.SPDIF input x 1SPDIF output x 1Surround/Rear Speaker output x 1Center/Subwoofer Speaker output x 1Soltek mainboards with build-in 6-channel audio function can be upgraded with the SL-02KIT.When the SL-02KIT is installed, the Center and Surround Speaker output function can migrate to the SL-02KIT.
