Cons: Obscurity

Pros: Quiet, fast, cool

Comment:
This is a hidden gem of a drive.While intended for streaming video recording this drive is excellent for more mundane uses. It is fast, quiet and cool running. It also has a somewhat slimmer profile than many mainstream 3.5" drives meaning improved cooling is a high density environment (such as a RAID cage or NAS enclosure. It functions effortlessly handling streaming media in an HTPC/media server role.I have used the 500GB version and this one is, if anything even better.
