Will add that extra couple of inches for very good cable management. Seriously? It's a cable... To get rid of any confusion these are 5.75 inch from tip to finish and they do not come in the same colors shown. They are red and black "interlaced" (red black red black red...) |

tested and works, and it is low cost. Sort of funky seeking. If I use mine in a future construct, I'll in all probability get some heatshrink tubing or wrap to make it appear significantly less funky. I bought it just in case my PSU cable wasn't extended sufficient, ended up not making use of it although. I don't have a multimeter to measure the drop in voltage due to resistance.
