SYBA 8" 8" Molex 4-pin Male to 15-pin SATA Power Cable
Cons:The Cable that arived was much shorter than I expected. It was a bit less than 6.25" inches long. I required this converter cable for this cable extension to be at least 8 Inches in length. Luckily I had a extra molex to molex extension cable on hand to add to this cable to provide a cable of sufficient length to power the DVD Drive
Pros:It's a Molex to Sata power converter cable & it works well. It did the job I needed it to do. After I extended the length of the cable with an extra Molex to Molex extension cable. |
It works. Would I purchass this cable again. No, however the reason why I would not is not Syba's fault. The fault falls strictly on me this was sheer user error.I failed to call NCIX to check if they had more info on this cable such as it's length there is nothing in the item specification listing the length of this cable2 Lesson's I learned from this.#1. To only buy cable's that specify the cables length in the description/item specifications box.#2. Call NCIX & verify if the length of the cable is long enough or longer than the length I require.
