Got this for my dental office system. Using to view digital x-rays. The contrast is excellent, I get great detail on my x-rays. 3D cat scans look great. My home monitor is a Samsung LED backlit model and the picture quality is almost indistinguishable. I wish it was as thin as my home monitor too, but hey the price was right. |

I've purchased 15 Samsung monitors and all of them have performed flawlessly. So when a new developer needed a new monitor, it was a no brainer to get another Samsung. Their display quality is great, construction is good and features are good as well. The only knock against them is there is no vertical adjustment, although we have found a use for all the phone books we had lying around. |

This is a great monitor, excellent quality and size at an excellent price. My only real problem is a too short dvi-d cable (5 feet) so I had to go out and buy a longer dvi-d cable. The adjustment controls are next to impossible to see and use, but the defaults under digital seem to be good for me anyway. |

Power and video cords are a bit on the short side. I use a two monitor setup, so the second monitor's cords barely reach my PC.
Pros: This monitor is fantastic. Assembly is easy and straightforward. Picture is amazing. I bought 2 of these and there are no dead pixels on either one. Configuration buttons are actually not buttons at all. They are a touch-sensative surface which gives the monitor a very futuristic and cool look and feel.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MONITOR!!! Comment:
I switched from using two 19" CRT monitors to these beasties. All I can say is make sure you have enough room on your desk!Also, make sure you adjust the monitor settings right away. When I received them they had the brightness and contrast settings maxed out. They do not need to be that high.These monitors are so sharp they could double as an HDTV. All you would need is an adapter to change HDMI into DVI, as there are no HDMI hookups on this model. |

Beautiful looking display with a very high image quality. Fast refresh rate, perfect for gaming. However, the touch buttons are very annoying and has taken as long as 30 seconds for me to attempt to turn the unit on and off.Comes with very useful auto auto adjusting that produces pretty well calibrated images. Of course, doesn't compare to an IPS panel, but for this price...Recommended if you can live with the button being quite fickle. |

On off button has a "touch screen feel" sometimes I hit the button right next to it by accident when turning it off. It's fine when you get used to it.

It is a great monitor that comes with a well designed stand. It is very sturdy however it easily pivots both vertically and horizontally. I have one both at home and the office. 1920 x 1080 looks sharp on this big screen. When I saw the $199 NCIX in-store special I had to grab another one. |

I bought this because I wanted a 24" monitor with my new system and Samsung makes good stuff. This model had lots of positive reviews online and it was on sale so seemed to be the way to go. All I can say is WOW. For the past 4 years I've been using an LG Flatron and I thought that was all right. Wrong! The Samsung has just incredible colour and contrast depth that I'm literally seeing some things for the first time. Website look different because I can see shades and suble hues that were missing before. Plus, this thing looks absolutely stunning on my desk. BUY THIS MONITOR NOW - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! |

Purchased this monitor approx. three months ago (December 14th, 2010) for $200. I am very pleased with it's performance as a budget monitor. The colour and picture quality is very nice, and while there is no vertical, the swivel base makes it easy to turn. As for downsides, there was no HDMI input, which I feel is it's biggest (and only 'real') drawback. I recently purchased two other monitors though to hook up HDMI inputs to, and so didn't require a third, and saved some cash by purchasing this one.While it is perhaps personal preference, I dislike Samsung monitor's touch buttons, but they do seem to function fine on this model.I would recommend this monitor for someone looking to save a little cash over more expensive/larger variants.
