This is one of the best drives around, especially for the money.Boots win8 in less than 10 seconds on a Z87 and 4770K cpu. bought another one of these in 256GB for my laptop and it transformed it from slow to a fast demon. Awesome drive. High recomendations. Make sure to read proper SSD optimization guide, not the flop thats sais no need for it. Samsung has a hit on their hands with this one. |

Installed on XP. Worked fine until I removed or installed new software, then the file system became corrupt. Happened twice.Installed on win8, works flawlessly.I cannot explain why the XP install messed up, possibly because it was a migrated install from a regular HDD.Will monitor, maybe a case for an RMA. |

I held off purchasing this due to the initial release's issues but once the new firmware resolved that issue (and was confirmed by testers/review sites, etc.), I decided to try it out, especially since it came with Far Cry 3 and AC3 at the time, the thing is indeed one of the fastest SSDs on the market. |

Installed drive in early january. Ran very fast for two months and then died. Took a little while for Samsung to determine if the drive could be returned in Canada (it could not) so off to the US. Samsung insists that I do not need to follow UPS instructions regarding customs documents (I have it in an email). We will see. Guess I should have bought the extended coverage. |

Wow, what a drive (so far). Replaced an 80GB Intel X25 SSD. Simple too, imaged the old one with Win7, put in the new one, restored it and back to where I was moments ago! As for the speeds, Crystalmark is telling me that this thing kicks my X25's butt! ESPECIALLY in write speeds, they have more than tripled over the X25. Only ting left is to determine longer term reliability but with a 5yr warranty you'd think SSD's are becoming better than they were in their infancy. Got this at a wicked sale price too! |

What can I say, this is one of the fastest drives around at the moment. Put it in, install the OS... VROOOOOOOM! Don't settle with the regular version, do jump the ship to the PRO. You get a SSD for speed, not for being lame and slow. Do buy this if you're jumping into SSD... unless of course you are going to put this SSD in some business laptop then that's a different story. |

However when i picked it up, the sales guy states that they don't have any farcry 3 codes available and it should be sent to me via e-mail in a couple of days. I have had the SSD for over 10 days and have still not received the farcry 3 code. Other than that, the SSD is good. |

I got this as a birthday present from my brother, so I cannot vouch for the price on this ssd, however this is an extremely good solid state drive! My boot up times have never been quicker and I load premiere and after effects in a snap now!
