Pros:Thin, light, sturdy construction, fast boot up and refresh from sleep. Comment:
Only had this laptop a month, but it has been great so far. It has sturdy construction and feels solid, the back-lit keyboard is very nice, and the screen, aside from it not being 1080, looks nice. I mainly bought it for travel, so the weight and thickness were an issue for me. I have been very pleased so far. |

Cons:no wireless switch on laptop to turn it off manually, no indicators in front for power/battery/hdd
Pros:Backlit keyboard, large touchpad, comfortable keyboard, light and portable, i7 processor, 8GB or RAM, Radeon videocard and a lot of space for 750GB hard drive + 8 GB express cache SSD, USB 3.0, HDMI Comment:
Bought it recently to replace my dying laptop. Looks great and is very light yet 15.6 inch screen HD+ with pretty good resolution for movies and gaming. Boots quite fast and bloatware was easy to uninstall since all of it can be found in Samsung software manager.The only thing is that the wireless/bluetooth are turned on by default and there is no hardware switch for them... |
I need a new laptop, something that looks sleek and refined. What its business like exterior hides is a powerful i7 processor and dedicated graphics. only thing i would upgrade is to a solid state hard drive. the touch pad takes some getting used to, its big but it lacks a scroll bar on the side. i dislike the french key board, but when its dark i cant see it anyway. the screen is nice and bright, the webcam is excellent, although i did have some sound issues as the mic picked up computer noise will skyping. the num pad is great to have also. wifi was fast, and usb 3.0 meant i was able to transfer all of my files quickly. bloat ware was minimal, norton 60 day trial + ms office was nice.
