This monitor is impressive to look at. 27 inch is definitely NOT too big. You'll get used to it very fast. The picture quality isn't as good as some other ips panels, but that's to be expected. The response time is irreproachable and there's virtual no ghosting.

This was my Christmas gift to myself, and I doubt I've ever seen a nicer monitor for this price. The color and clarity are phenominal, and for both gaming and movies, this is an excellent choice! I am exceptionally pleased with my purchase, and would definitely recommend it for anyone with enough desk space.I want another one!

Well basically This monitor is Great. People can speculate about TN or what ever but it looks really really good. I assume its marketed as a gaming display via 1ms and it does that well i get no ghosting in any games i play so in that department its great. going from a 22" to this is night and day for viability in games i have it further back than my 22" and see everything much better im finding targets i had to squint at before with my 22" right in front of my keyboard. The colors are crisp as always with samsung and you have many adjustable modes i think im using magic bright. I'm a very accomplished FPS player and i noticed right away i spotted people Far sooner than normal especially Long shots it was worth the upgrade. I'm very satisfied only thing i would have liked was a height adjustment. and who ever said you cant see this monitor from a angle? what kind of angle are you trying to look at a pc monitor from? 45* or something? quit being a retard its a desktop pc monitor and i can see it from decent viewing angles although its going to be right in front of my face where its supposed to be.
